Together we sped past the roofs of Mondstadt, careful to attract as little attention as possible. Behind us was quite a commotion in front of the cathedral doors.
From there we had just wanted to steal the Holy Lyre der Himmel, but a Fatui had beaten us to it. The Fatui were not only against Jean's plans, they were sabotaging them. What their actual plans were remained to be found out.
Venti began to slow his glider and descend. The blue feather on his hat almost fall off as he turned his head to me and nodded. He seemed to have found a suitable hiding place.
Angel's Share.

Before I could even object, Venti slipped into the familiar tavern with me by the wrist.
My heart was pounding in my throat and every muscle in my body seemed to be tensed to the utmost as we entered the warm and cosy atmosphere of Angel's Share.
The smell of wine and the animated conversations passed unnoticed by me. I was too busy praying that Diluc wouldn't be here for once.
"Hi, we'd like a seat at your ahhh.... least conspicuous table.", Venti pronounced, obviously rather nervous.
I was standing slightly behind the Bard with my eyes fixed on my shoes, so I couldn't make out who he was talking to. Out of fear I just couldn't bring myself to look up.
I clutched at the hem of my white dress and I gritted my teeth. Finally, Venti was given an answer and I flinched barely noticeably.
"Umm... the second floor has fewer customers, you'd be less conspicuous up there..."
I startled up, my gaze fixed on the man who had just talked to us. I had immediately recognized the deep and calm voice, which fitted the body like a fist to the eye.
The young tall man, with his red hair, white waistcoat, brown coat and black gloves, stopped in mid-sentence when our eyes met.
Time seemed to stop for a moment as his crimson eyes widened almost unnoticeable. Not a moment later, he had regained his composure and turned his gaze back to Venti.
"... b-but aren't you a bard? Why not sit front and centre?"
I swallowed hard. Diluc's posture had tightened and his voice faltered a little. There was no doubt that he had also recognized me immediately.
"Hahaha, let's save the paid performance for next time. We'll be heading up now, see you in a bit!"
My gaze wandered to the red-haired man one last time before I hurried after Venti upstairs to the second floor.
We sat down at a table next to the railing where we had a good view of the entrance and the counter. I sank into my chair and tried to get my heartbeat under control again.
Venti looked at me a little worriedly but kept his questions to himself, as he obviously didn't want to draw any more attention to us.
As soon as my breathing had completely calmed down again, I dared to take a look at the young redhead, who was still standing downstairs at the bar and talking to Charles.
You couldn't see anything on him but he had looked completely perplexed earlier. No wonder, he had thought the whole body-swapping stuff had just been a bad dream; so had I!
Now suddenly seeing the girl in front of him, whose body he had only recently been in must have caught him off guard.
Before I could order my thoughts further, the door to the tavern was opened again and two members of the Knights of Favonius entered. Instinctively I slid slightly away from the railing.
