Chapter 11:Kaitlyn Calling

*Ross's POV*

"Hey, Ross. Can we talk?" Ellington said as he sat next to me.

I put my phone in my pocket and directed all my attention on him. "Of course." I said and laid my head on his shoulder.

He gently moved my head and bit his lip. "Ross.."

I don't know why he moved me away from him a little, and I don't know what's going on, but something's up, and it seems serious.

I looked at him. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"I need you to promise me something." He said, placing his hand on my shoulder gently.

"Okay.. What?" I said.

"Promise me that no matter what happens, you will not be upset or angry, and that you won't hate me." He said.

This is starting to scare me..

"I promise..." I said and bit my lip.

Suddenly, his phone screen lit up, and his phone was ringing. It showed that someone named Kaitlyn was calling.

"Hold on." He said and got up, and went to the bathroom to answer the phone.

"That's weird. He usually doesn't go in private to answer a phone call.. He never hides anything from me. He shouldn't have to either.. I'm his boyfriend and he should trust me." I said to myself.

I took a deep breath, got up and slowly walked to stand in front of the bathroom door. I normally don't eavesdrop but something isn't right. I put my ear up to the door.

"Listen, I am sorry about the Ross deal." He said to the person on the phone.

"What..." I whispered to myself.

"You know, I shouldn't have kept going behind your back. I'm sorry, Kait." He said.

"Wait.. Who is he talking to?" I whispered.

"I love you." He said.

Then, it sounded like he hung up.

Instead of rushing back to my original position, I stood there in shock. He opened the door and saw me there. I got a little misty eyed.

"How could you?!" I said, trying not to be upset.

"What..? How could I what?!" He asked innocently.

"Don't think you can fool me, Ellington! I heard everything!" I said and rushed out of the hotel room.

"Ross, wait! It wasn't like that!" Ell yelled, rushing after me.

"Stop! I'm not stupid!"

"Ross... That was my-"

Okay, so first things first (I'm the realist), Kaitlyn is jaitydiggs because I thought she fits the character best (that's why I named the character after her).

Second, I realize that I cut the chapter off in the middle of a sentence.

That, my friends, is the worst kind of cliff hanger you could ever see or hear.

I'm sorry don't hate me for it.

Umm, so the next chapter, it won't have the rest of the sentence (dun dun dun) it will be exactly after the entire sentence was spoken.
