Chapter 12: Meetup

*Ross's Point Of View*

"Ross, that was my sister." Ellington said and I widened my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I think my hearing is weird. Did you just say sister?" I said and he laughed a bit.

"Yeah, Ross. Kaitlyn is my sister." Ellington said and wrapped his arms around me.

"Wait... You never told us that you have a sister.." I said.

"We all have our secrets.." He said and grinned. "Anyway, she's going to come here and meet you."

I stood there, not knowing what to say. Ellington had his arms around me, but I didn't hug back. I slowly wrapped my arms around him, and laid my head on his shoulder.

"When is your sister coming?" I asked.

"She should be here in a few hours." He answered, still hugging me.

It didn't occur to us that we were still in the middle of the hallway, until we heard someone behind us clear their throat.

"Um, hellooo. I'm right here." A girl said.

Ellington pulled away and looked at the girl.

"Kaitlyn! You told me that your flight got delayed and you'd be here later." He said, and hugged her.

"Surprise!" She said happily and hugged him back.

She pulled away and ran to me and wrapped her arms around me tightly.

"She's a hugger." Ellington said with a slight laugh.

"I noticed." I said and hugged her back.

"I'm Kaitlyn. Ellington's sister." She said after pulling away.

"Ross. Ellington's boyfriend." I said quietly.

"Nice to meet you." She said and smiled.

"You too, Kaitlyn." I said and smiled back.

"So, I heard there was a misunderstanding.." Kaitlyn said, trying not to giggle.

I blushed a little, showing that I was embarrassed.

"Yeah, I was an ass."

"Aw, don't call yourself an ass." Kaitlyn said.

"No, I assumed. The first half of the word assume is ass, and that's what I am." I joked. "But yeah. I assumed you were dating Ellington or something. I'm embarrassed." I said and she giggled.

"I'd never date my own brother. That's disgusting." She said.

"Oh, Ellington.." Kaitlyn said to Ell.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"I hope you don't mind, but I brought a friend." She said.

"Eh, no problem. The more the merrier. Who is it?" Ellington said.

"It's just Maria.." She said and Ellington nodded.

"The quirky brunette girl that has a stupid brother?" Ellington said.

"That's the one." Kaitlyn said.

Then, a tan brunette girl came up behind Kaitlyn.

"Hey, this is Ross." Kaitlyn said to the girl.

"Hi, Ross." The brunette said and waved at me.

"Hey Ellington!" She said to Ell.
