Chapter 4:Boyfriend Calling

*Riker's POV*

"So yeah.. Let's just eat now." I said to Ross and Ellington.

"Riker..." Ross said.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Your phone is ringing..." Ross pointed out.

I quickly got my phone out of my pocket and answered the phone.

"Hey." The person on the other side of the phonecall said. It was my boyfriend FaceTiming me.

I smiled wide. "Hey, babe!" I said.

"Hey. How's it going over there in America?" He asked.

Ross and Ell were talking pretty loudly as they walked toward the kitchen.

"Give me a minute." I said to my boyfriend and put my phone down.

I walked to the kitchen. "Hey, guys, I'm not hungry. Can I eat later?" I asked my family.

"Okay. Just don't get used to this." Mom said and I nodded before walking back into the family room.

I quickly grabbed my phone and ran into my room.

"Alright, I'm back. What was the question?" I asked my boyfriend.

"I asked how it is in America." He said with his adorable grin on his face.

"It's okay. But it would be much better if you were here." I said as I shut my door.

He let out a small chuckle. "I know, babe. I wish you were here." He said, sticking his bottom lip out.

"Riker! Is that my boyfriends best friend on the phone?" Rydel yelled.

"Give me a minute babe." I put my phone down and ran to my door.

"So is it?" Rydel asked.

Remember that I'm the guy that keeps everyone's secrets? Well, Rydel's secret is that she's dating someone that she shouldn't. Mom would freak out. Of course she would freak out over the fact that I have a boyfriend too. She would want me to have a girlfriend instead.

"Yes it is your boyfriends best friend . Now, what do you need?" I asked as I peeked my head through the door.

"Mom sent me to check on you and I thought I heard a familiar Australian accent..." She said and I chuckled.

"Tell mom that I'm fine. I'm just not hungry." I said and she left.

"Anyway... I'm back, Luke." I said to my boyfriend on the phone.
