*Ross's POV*
"Ellington.." I whispered as I looked over at my boyfriend.
"What?" He asked.
I took in a deep breath.
"What if they find out? What... What are they gonna do? What about us.. What are we gonna do? Are we going to be forced to break-"
He interrupted my thoughts by kissing me on the lips.
It lasted for only a moment, suddenly I heard footsteps and pulled away from Ellington, as well as releasing my hand from his.
"I.. Oh, hey guys." Mom said and I turned my head to look at her. "Have you seen Riker and Rydel?" She asked.
I automatically froze. I never even thought of an excuse. I was too busy with my boyfriend, that I completely forgot that I was supposed to cover for my siblings.
"They decided to go on a roadtrip." Ellington said calmly. "They needed a short getaway, y'know." He said with a smile.
"Oh okay. When do you think they'll get back?" Mom asked.
"They said anywhere between a few days and a week. They aren't sure yet." He said.
When I looked down at my phone, I began to freak out.
I don't know how to come up with an excuse for the news I just received.
"This is an emergency.." I mouthed.
