Chapter 5:Flights

*Rikers POV*

I couldn't believe it, but Luke and I broke up. It wasn't really working out being so far apart, so Luke decided to break up with me.

But, Rydel and Michael are still going strong. In fact, I'm helping Rydel run away tonight, to go to Australia to be with him. They really miss each other and I promised to help her run away.

"Riker!" Ross yelled as he ran into my room. I quickly shoved my backpack under my bed before he could see it. I am actually going with Rydel, even though it will be awkward to see Luke again. I'm more interested in helping Rydel than anything.

"Uhm, whatcha need?" I asked as I stood right in front of the bed.

"I was just going to ask if you could cover for me and Ell tonight? We were going to go spend the night at a hotel so we could be alone, and.."

I sighed and shook my head. "Not tonight, Rosso." I said and he frowned.

"Why not?" He asked.

I took in a deep breath. "Listen, if you tell a soul, I will hunt you down and murder you." I whispered to him.

"Okay..?" He said and I placed my hands on his shoulders.

"You're going to be the one to cover for me and Rydel for like a week. I'm taking her to Australia so she can be with her boyfriend for a while. Okay?" I whispered.

He nodded, still frowning.

"Tell ya what." I said. "I'll cover for you and Ell to spend the night at a hotel as soon as we get home. Alright?" I said and he nodded.

"What am I supposed to tell the family? They're going to get suspicious since you'll be gone the entire week." He said.

"Find something to tell them. I believe in you." I said and finished packing.

"Gotta go." I said and ran outside to the car, where Rydel was waiting.

*Rydels POV, a few hours later*

"Ugh I can't wait to get there and see Mike." I said quietly as I glanced at Riker.

"Just sleep a while, the flight will be a little bit longer." Riker informed me and I nodded before drifting off to sleep.
