Chapter 22
"So how were the Twins?" Dorethea asked.
"Dark, dusty, and damp," I responded.
"Must've been hard with Robb Stark's ghost?" she sneered.
"Let's just say it was easy to get around the beast," I responded.
Dorethea walked away sulking and came back fifteen minutes later.
"What are you going to do if her allies come?" Dorethea asked.
"Simple if the defenses don't keep them out, I'll use this," I said pulling out a piece of goddess amber.
Goddess amber was a rare item I was lucky to have. It had been created by the goddess clan to seal away powerful demons. This unused piece was my last resort if all else failed. I just hoped it never came to that. However, these people were probably the ones who killed Izou. I couldn't wait for revenge. My weapon Shambala was mainly a teleporter but I also had an assortment of knives too.
"Lord Syura, a portal is opening up!" Cosmina yelled.
Guess they were coming sooner than I thought. No problem, it would just make their defeat sweeter.
