Staring at the cake on the table a million thoughts run through my mind. That's why she couldn't get on the roller coaster ride. She's been pregnant all this time.

She even threw up this morning, and I hadn't noticed. I should have taken her larger breast as a sign something had defiantly changed about her. How had I not noticed?

Why didn't she tell me when she found out? How many weeks is she? I have so many questions that only she can answer and yet I can't speak. This woman is carrying my baby and the only thing I feel is excitement. Excitement that this baby will ensure she can be mine.

I've wanted her since I've met her and a baby will only bring us closer. Why did she feel she couldn't tell me until now though? What if she's even told, Alec? I can only assume she got pregnant the day we reunited at the baby shower.

My eyes meet the cake that must have taken her an hour to make. It's beautiful. I can't tell if we are having a boy or a girl because the cake is both blue and pink. My parents both look at me waiting for me to say something to the poor girl waiting for my reaction.

Looking up at her I notice the shirt. She's pregnant. My woman is pregnant. Biting my bottom lip I stand and pull her into a deep passionate kiss. Tilting her head back I let my tongue slide into her mouth. Then my hand slides into her hair and I pull hard. "You're pregnant," I whisper a smile forming on my face.

"Yes. I wanted to surprise you with a cake." She says breathlessly with her eyes closed. Both my parents clear their throats.

"We are still here son." My mother candace announces.

Quickly Lilith pushes me back with a blush formed on her face. "Your parents are watching." She whispers into my chest. Letting her go I pick up the girl's shoe and eat it.

"I want a boy." Turning back towards her I bend down and glare at her stomach. It's still very small and not noticeable.

"Come out as a boy okay. So daddy can spoil you with baseballs." Then smiling I turn back towards my parents.

"Who says I want a boy?" Lilith furrows her brow.

I grab her and hold her close to my body. "We have Rachel," I say.

She looks up at me and smiles. "You aren't mad?" His voice goes quiet.

"Why would I be mad baby?" I question.

"Well, we have never talked about having a baby together." She looks down with a frown. Lifting her head I make her look at me.

"Listen I'm ecstatic. We may not have planned this, but I do want more kids." I press my forehead against hers.

She bites her bottom lip and turns to my parents. "I'm sorry you two had to meet me like this." She blushes.

"It's fine Lilith. We are both happy Nico has found someone after all these years." His mother stands with a smile on her face.

"It would be nice if we could get to know you better. After your shift would you be able to talk to us both?" She questions.

*Lilith*

"Actually I have time to spare. I'll help you both with the cake." Sitting down in a seat Nico joins me.

"Well, okay then. First things first, I would like to know how you two met?" She folds her hand on the table. Nico's hand goes behind me as he pulls me close.

"We met a month ago at my sister's wedding." Smiling, I remember the first time we met as if it was yesterday. " He ran into me and almost broke my camera," I add.

He smiles and leans forward a bit. "The winter storms that week were terrible, so we had to stay for an entire week. Then things just happened." He adds.

Nodding my head I agree with him. His father's eyes widen and his mother's brows furrow. "You've only known each other for a month and she's already pregnant!" His father's voice comes out stern. I would have expected that reaction from my father. After all, he won't take this lightly.

"Relax dad. It's not like we are getting married yet. We still have a lot of time to get to know each other. A child won't change that." Nico says, cooly.

"A child will change a lot, son. Just make sure you don't regret it in the end." His father sighs.

It's true Nico barely knows me, but I want him to get to know everything about me. Now more than ever. It won't be hard if we start dating.

"Don't forget I've done this before dad. This isn't my first Rodeo." Nico removes his arm from my shoulder and crosses them.

"We don't doubt you, Nico. It would just put us at ease if you two knew each other long before having a child." His mother frowns.

"We didn't plan this, but I assure you I'll take good care of Nico. I care about him and don't intend on letting him go soon." Sitting up straight I grab Nico's hand and hold it close to me.

His mother nods her head. "I believe you." She smiles. "We would like to meet with you two tomorrow so we can have more time to talk."

Nodding I cut a piece of cake. "Do you know the gender?" His father asks.

Shaking my head I frown. "I'm only a couple of weeks."

She also cuts a piece of cake in understanding.  For the rest of the time they are here I get a lot of questions. Mainly how I started my bakery...
