Started With A Wedding

3 months later

Sitting on the swinging chair in the backyard I lean against Nico. His hand caresses my back in our very comfortable position. After we both came back from the hospital, he nursed me back to full health. Wouldn't even let me get out of bed without him by my side.

Everything went back to normal after a month. We went back to our lives. I moved out of my place and got a new apartment. Alec went to jail right where he belongs.

My parents and Nico's parents met. I threw a Sunday dinner and they both came. They love each other and the dinner went well. My mother saw pictures of my pregnancy cake. Even though we still don't know the gender.

Nico and I haven't talked about our plans yet. As my stomach grows the conversation is more and more needed. Now would be the perfect time to bring it up to him.

"Nico we should talk about our child now." Looking up at him I see a slight grin on his face.

"What's on your mind?" He questions. Getting nervous I trace the length of his arm with my hands.

"We still need to tell Rachel along with planning ahead," I add.

He nods and lets out a sigh. "Well I've made a plan for us, but I didn't want to bring it up too soon." He says.

"Well, what is it?" Raising an eyebrow I wait for him to talk.

"I want you to move in with me. Turn my house into a place for both of us and build a life here." He smiles.

Biting my bottom lip I sit up from his lap. Turning around I take his hands into mine. "Ok." Nodding I start to smile.

"Really?" He grins.

"Yes. I want to build a life here with you and Rachel." Gasping I hold back the happy tears I feel. He wants me to be with him!

Suddenly he looks down nervously and I wait for what he's going to say. "I love you, Lilith." He whispers.

My smile grows at the three words that have come out of his mouth. Before I can say it back though Rachel runs outside.

"Dad Grandma called. She said she has something called a "Baby" Shower planned for Lilith? What's that?" Rachel asks and I start laughing.

Nico smiles and motions for Rachel to join us. She runs over and sits in between Nico and I.

"Rachel we have something to tell you!" Nico says.

She giggles "Did you two get me another present?" She excitedly squirms.

"Nope, something even better!" I smile and pull her into my arms.

"Rachel me and Lilith have decided to start dating," Nico says grabbing a hold of my and intertwining it.

Rachel rolls her eyes and crosses her arms. "Well, I know that! It's so obvious!" She giggles.

Smiling I wait for Nico to finish. "Well, she's also having a baby Rach." He says nervously.

Rachel's eyes widen and she looks up at me. Then she looks down at my stomach. "What! I'm getting a sibling."

Nodding my head I take her hand into mine and put it over my stomach. Her eyes widen and Nico grins.

"Is it a girl or a boy?" She asks amused.

"We are waiting to know the gender," Nico admits.

She jumps up and starts giggling. "I can't wait." Then she runs back into the house.

"Well! Should we go in there and call your mother back." Smiling I stand up from the couch. Nico follows after me.

"Yes." He takes my hand into his and we walk into the house. I dread the days where I'm going to have to wobble around and barely be able to walk up all those stairs.

Nico lets go of my hand and picks up the house phone calling his mother back. Walking over to the counter I open a drawer and grab a notebook and pen out of it.

For the baby shower, I will need to make two cakes. One for my cake shop and another for everyone to eat.

The cakes I'm going to make will be mixed with pink and blue since we haven't found out the gender yet.

Writing down all the ingredients I'll need to buy I look over to Rocco. "Ok, mom. Yes, we are inviting everyone. I want them to all meet Lilith...What about her mom are you planning it together?" He questions.

"Okay, I'll let Lilith know." He walks over to me and kisses my cheek. "They are planning the entire baby shower for us. All you need to take care of is the cake."

"Okay. I'll go down to the bakery and order everything." Grabbing my keys off of the counter I kiss him on the lips before walking out of the door.

Once I walk into the bakery I'm greeted by my coworkers who also congraudulate me. Then I immediately get to work on ordering everything for the cakes....

2 weeks later

Everyone gathers around me. Introducing themselves as they set down gifts for my baby. A lot of them are Nico's family who came to meet the girl he got knocked up. Then there's my family who also came to see Nico.

"Your love story is so sweet. I only live an hour away so I'll be sure to come visit your shop at least once every two weeks." His aunt says with a smile.

"That would be nice. I'll have a cake ready for you when you do." Shaking her hand I then watch as she walks away.

Nico comes up to me and wraps his arms around me. I smile and turn my head to look at him. "Everyone is here. You want to open the presents first or eat the cake?" He asks.

"We can open the presents first." I say.

He nods and lets go of me. Then he takes my hand into his and leads me over to the presents. "We are going to start opening presents now. Everyone please take a seat and gather round. As everyone gathers around the first present I pick up is from his mother.....
