No One's POV
It had been about a week since Semi and Shirabu had last hung out. Currently it was midnight and Semi was making his way over to Shirabu's apartment. Of course his friend didn't know of this, but that didn't stop him. A few minutes later and he was standing outside the apartment. After a few knocks on the door, it swung open, revealing a blank-faced and very sleep deprived Shirabu.
"Hey, you busy?" Semi asked.
"No, why?" Shirabu replied, as he let the ash-blond inside.
"Wanna film a video?"
"It's the middle of the night, what would we even do?"
"Well, we could, you know do that one thing.."
"You have no idea, do you?"
"Zilch, zero, nada."
"Well, I was gonna try cooking something. Wanna just film that?"
"Ooo, great idea Salty, lets do it."
The two walked into the kitchen. Semi set up the camera as Shirabu looked at the condiments in his fridge and pantry.
"What are we cooking?" Semi asked once he finished propping up his camera.
"Uh, we can make pasta or sandwiches or pasta. Ya I don't really have much food." Shirabu answered.
"Lets make the pasta." Semi decided.
After they took out the ingredients, they started filming the intro. It felt like an eternity of trying to film the beginning of the video. Either someone one would laugh or they said the wrong words, but it just wasn't working in their favor.
"Fuck this." Shirabu let out an exhausted sigh and then took one last try at the intro, deciding to wing it. "Welcome to my cooking show, Semi's channel is now mine." He ended the video clip as he looked at Semi. "There's your intro."
Semi let out an amused laugh, liking the intro and not feeling like trying to do another one. He started recording again as they turned the stove on to boil the water.
"Do we need to put steps?" The ash-blonde asked.
"Well, it is a cooking channel now." Shirabu sarcastically responded, getting a small chuckle in reply.
"Step one, boil the water." Semi said now facing the camera.
"You suck at giving directions." Shirabu spoke from behind him as he sat on the countertop.
"I'd like to see you try giving steps to making pasta." Semi turned to the copper-haired male.
"Just say, step one make the pasta. Bam shazam end it there." Shirabu replied as he got off the counter to check if the water was boiled. Ultimately deciding it was hot enough to be considered boiling. He put the pasta in the pot, not really sure how much he should put it.
"I don't think you put the pasta in there correctly." Semi was eyeing the pasta that was awkwardly sticking out of the pot, while there was fire right underneath it.
"Its fine- oh and the lights are gone." Shirabu said as he walked over to the light switch but before he could make it there the lights switched back on, then back off.
"Are your lights ok?" Semi asked as he looked up at the lights turning on and off.
"Ya, I think its just the ghost." Shirabu walked back over to the pasta, as if he knew how to cook. He ignored the lights even if they were annoying since he couldn't do much about it.
"The what?" Semi questioned, slightly concerned.
"Its a very friendly ghost- what an asshole, setting my damn pasta on fire." Shirabu switched moods as he was trying to complement his roommate from beyond the dead, when the pasta caught on fire causing him to try and pour some water on it. Semi came out of nowhere, smacking the fire with a rag, which then caught on fire. He threw the rag in the sink while Shira got a fire extinguisher. After making a giant mess of his kitchen, the fire was put out.
"Maybe we should just get fast-food." Semi suggested as Shira poured water on the burnt pasta and rag just to make sure.
"And that concludes the cooking video, come back next time for some new recipes." Shirabu said in a high-picked, squeaky voice, getting annoyed at the lights being turned on and off again. The taller male laughed at the other's outtro and ended the recording. He grabbed his keys and camera while the two of them both made their way to his car. Semi drove through the McDonalds drive thru as Shirabu sat in the passenger seat. Once they got their food, they parked outside of the store.
"Should we film my video now?" Shirabu asked as he ate his chicken nuggets.
"If you know any haunted places, besides your house, then bet." He replied taking a sip of his drink.
"What place isn't haunted at this point. There's this old abandoned school like 4 blocks down. It looks pretty haunted to me." The copper-hair replied getting a shrug in reply. Once they finished their food, Semi started driving out of the parking lot. Shirabu was giving directions to him so they wouldn't end up at some random place without a clue where they were. After 20 minutes of driving they finally made it to the abandoned school. While Semi was looked at the exterior of the old building, Shirabu started filming his intro on Semi's video, figuring he'd just transfer the clips to his computer later.
"On this episode of Ghost hunters-" Semi's laugh cut off Shirabu's intro which only got Shirabu to laugh as well. "On this episode of Ghost hunters, we're kidnapping children." His intro only got Semi to laugh even more. Once they calmed down and made they're way inside the building, Shirabu continued to record.
"Semi, here, hold this." Shira handed his camera over to his friend. "Now just hold it, real life saver man, thanks." Semi shook his head as he was now the new cameraman.
After climbing through a window, they found themselves in a classroom. They examined the room, finding it had random desks all over the place. Some were right side up, others looked like they were thrown.
"I love what they did with the place." Semi said as he propped up the camera. Shirabu stood next Semi in front of the camera, holding up a peace sign. As the two were posed an empty bottle of glue flew across the room and hitting the wall.
"Fucking jesus christ, holy mother of God, my poor fucking heart." Shirabu said as turned out around to see what the noise was.
"Its just the spirts welcoming us." Semi replied, scanning over the room for anything that looked out of place.
"What a nice way to say hello." Shirabu picked up the camera and left to go explore another room.
