This isn't Sanctuary

At the entrance of the Aokigahara forest. A lone hunter walks through the opening. Many signs in different languages all say the same thing. Turn back. Life is precious. There is hope.

"I remember grandpa talking about Yokai inhabiting the forest. Restless spirits trapped in the sea of trees. It's why monsters and animals stay away from here but of course, scavengers appear for the corpses or free territory. They can't stay for long due to the feeling of being watched. The Tail riders are reported to have inhabited the deeper part of the forest where the ominous feeling isn't there."

Satoshi Kurosaki, the middle son of the Kurosaki family, steps through the forest. Wearing his tribute armor to his late master Utsushi and a unique mask over his face. Mimicking a zinogre's face, it is designed to act like a gas mask and more. The scout flies remain dormant as no sign of monsters are present.

Around his hands are black synthetic gloves that react to his quirk: Raijū's Wrath. This quirk bestowed to him the title of Alpha of the Zinogres. His body creates bioelectrical charges, and he manipulates it as pure electricity or constructs to fight with.

Further, into the forest, the scout flies turn blue. Swirling around Satoshi, this made him uneasy. His phone starts to ring, and he answers behind a tree. Connecting the mask to the phone.

"What is it?! Are you trying to get me killed?!" He answered as he doesn't know who called him but this is his work phone. If a threat is nearby, he doesn't want to be distracted.

"Hey! That's no way to talk to your girlfriend! Do I have to disobey your begging to kick your ass?!" It was his girlfriend, Rumi Usagiyama.

Satoshi quickly sends out a pulse to locate the threat but there was no sign of life. He soon realizes the scout flies were circling claw marks. This gave him a sigh of relief. "Sorry but I was worried a threat was nearby but I found marks," Satoshi said and walks to the claw marks. Strange to see two sets of claw marks. One near the roots and one several feet from the roots, both seem to be made by the right side of the monster.

"I can help you. Tell me where you are. Even the pups miss their alpha. Let me help you!" Rumi said over the com.

"No, this is a family matter. We aren't married... yet." He said with a chuckle. Satoshi notices more tracks and starts to follow. The foliage starts to die deeper in the forest. Half-eaten Aptonoth litter the ground. Something has been feeding on the bodies for a while. He follows the bodies and deep tracks start to appear. Corpses of bird wyvern like Velocidrome, Gendrome, and Iodrome packs were scattered around the tracks.

Satoshi places his fingers on the mask's side to have the eyes turn sky blue. Scanning the tracks but no known wyvern was identified.

"Satoshi! Are you ignoring me?! You have been making noises! Say something!"

"Unclassified. Whatever this thing is, it killed more than three herds of Aptonoth and an army of bird wyvern. What is this?" The feed cuts out as static was all he heard. Satoshi turns off the coms and looks at what he found. A small hut made by dead trees. It resembles a monster's den in a way. He slowly walks into the hut and sees that it goes underground. How long has he been walking? Almost three hours Since he entered the forest? The pathway he followed led to a stone door. A screen pops up in front of him before he could push the door back.

"It's been a long time since I have seen this," Satoshi said and removed his mask. The screen pop-up looks like it was from a game. The quirk that changed this world places warnings for hunters to specific locations or dangerous monsters. This place must be the den for a special monster.

"Now entering Sanctuary, home to the Heaven Revolving Dragon. The frenzy virus and her dangerous mind are past these doors. Proceed with caution. Do you wish to enter, hunter?" Satoshi read aloud. He didn't like the name of that wyvern's title. The scout flies turn red around the stone door. He presses yes and pushes the door back.
