MHA: A World of Monsters and Hunters

A Sign of Justice, Ninth User.

The next day, their homeroom class meets with Akira out in a forested training area. This biome is one of the four biomes the school has for hunter training. All the students wear their gym clothes for this exercise. Akira asks the riders to summon their monsties out.

The two riders extend their hands out with their crystals. The two pendants radiated in a brilliant light. It looked like scout flies were coming out of the pendant and taking shape in front of the two young riders.

The qurupeco stretches out its wings while Seregios coo out for Himiko. Koda and Himiko were given their targets and hopped on the saddles of their monsties. Himiko was more than excited to fly with her Seregios. Koda mumbles a little to his qurupeco and it lets out a cry of glee. Both flew off to find their targets. Akira tasks the others to form groups of four to track their monsters. Of course, Midoriya paired with Ryuji but they felt their classmates staring at them.

"It must be about yesterday," Ryuji mumbled and kept his head down. Uraraka and Iida come to the pair and offer their assistance.

"Himiko explained what happened yesterday. She informed me that you two are twins and she gets very attached to her older brother due to their quirks. It was your way of breaking that spell because you all value family but there is a time and place for it! For this! I apologize for my ill thoughts of your actions! Let us track this monster as a team!" Iida exclaims and extends his hand to Ryuji.

"Tenya Iida, younger brother of the famous hero Ingenium. Looks like we are in good hands for tracking this monster." He takes the hand and looks at Iida with a smile.

"No way! Ingenium! You are his brother?!" Midoriya starts to fanboy a little but Akira arrives with a clipboard for the group. Their target is a Bulldrome. Seems easy enough to find a fanged beast. The group collected their scout fly cages and headed off.

Iida and Ryuji talk about their families. Their bond grows more when they realize they both have a lot in common. Both have brothers they look up to and wish to aspire to be like them. Uraraka turns to Midoriya with a smile while they walk behind them.

"Those two sure talk a lot. I thought he was a punk, but he is rather nice to be around. Say, Himiko mentioned you knew Bakugo longer than Ryuji. I asked her why he called you Deku. Plus why he almost picked a fight with him on the first day. It's mean to call you a puppet of Ryuji. You aren't his underling... Are you?" Uraraka asked in a polite tone but became sheepish at the end.

Midoriya sighs as this question didn't bother him. "I looked up to Kacchan and Ryuji but I knew Kacchan longer. We were friends before Ryuji and I became friends. I don't know why but Kacchan just became mean to me. Maybe because I was first told I was quirkless and he thought I was lower than him. Ryuji transferred to my kindergarten class because my mom and his mom became fast friends when they met. They thought it would be nice for us to be in the same school and be friends. A small shimmer of hope in the idea. He was kind to me and became my friend after the first minute of meeting me without knowing our moms being friends." Midoriya smiles as he looks at Ryuji.

"Kacchan calls me Deku as an insult and says I am worthless. Ryuji could have had private tutors, but he chose to go to the schools I am in. Being his only friend, he became protective and fought... A lot. Kacchan became more aggressive when Ryuji and I hung out more. Just because I was associated with him." Midoriya sighs as he turns to Uraraka.

"Deku... Deku... it sounds cute! It would be a great hero name too. It kinda sounds like Dekiru! So... You can do it!" She says by punching the air. "Villains beware! Deku is here to save the day!"

Izuku feels flustered and accepts this new view of Deku very quickly. He hears Ryuji laugh and starts to walk backward to face Iida.

"So your hero armor is based on your family's legacy. It's kinda like mine! Representing the oni when it was once my clan's symbol. Strong and fierce! I even asked for some guns I can use against targets. Compressed air bullets with my quirk hurt like hell." Ryuji shared with Iida who got more interested in the concept. They talk more before Iida stops abruptly.
