Mulan shook his head at the mini dragon his ancestors sent to "help him out."

"I'm nervous Mushu. I've never done this before." 

"Then you're gonna have to trust me." Mushu said confidently. "Besides, that guy over there seems more nervous than you."

"Uh?"

Mulan looked over to where Mushu was pointing to see another guy looking panicky, trying to calm himself down.

"Okay [Y/n] you can do this. You've trained for this your whole life. Well, not really for THIS but, well……. everything will be fine. It's not like you'll be found out." She gasped. "But what if I'm found out? What will Papa and Shang say?"

Then she turned to her horse. "Oh Auto, what do I do?"

"Are you okay?"

[Y/n] flinched, yelping as she heard the voice behind her.

"Oh it's you." Mulan tilted his head at the guy in front of him. "Mulan right?"

"Yeah. But how do you know my name?" The young man asked confused, narrowing his eyes at her.

[Y/n] suddenly remembering her situation, started to stutter, lowering her voice.

"Oh….uh……um……it's uh……I um….you see….I…."

"Boy you a stalker or something?" Mushu called out from behind Mulan, making it seem like Mulan was the one who said it.

"No I'm not a stalker." [Y/n] said shaking her head. "I'm just……wait, what's that voice?"

"What voice?" Mulan asked trying to act oblivious.

"That voice that asked if I was a stalker."

"What are you talking about? Clearly it was my voice."

"Ah no. That voice was different from yours."

"Then clearly you have a hearing problem, cause I'm sure it was my voice."

[Y/n] gave him an unimpressed look, before glancing at his shoulder seeing a scale tail.

"There's a lizard on your shoulder." She said, making Mushu flare up.

"Lizard?! Who you calling Lizard?! I am a dragon! D-R-A-G-O-N. Dragon!" The guardian said angrily appearing on Mulan's shoulder making the man shake his head tiredly.

"Calm down Eragon. And to answer your previous question, I'm not a stalker. I just know you from around the village I stay in." [Y/n] said lying through her teeth.

"Oh, that makes sense then. I'm Mulan." Mulan said holding out his hand, but then realized his slip up. "But you already know that."

[Y/n] took his hand. "And I'm….uh.…"

[Y/n] inwardly panicked, realizing that she didn't have an alias yet. "I'm….I'm….Ping. My name is Ping."

"Nice to meet you Ping. This is Mushu." Mulan said, pointing to the dragon on his shoulder, when a certain cricket jumped on to his other shoulder. "Oh and this is crickee."

"Wow, you have a lot of animal friends." [Y/n] said amused.

Mulan laughed nervously. "Yeah."

"Though you look awfully familiar, have me….met before?" Mulan asked, trying to remember where he had seen those (e/c) eyes.

"We….met? No……" [Y/n] drawled out. "Maybe you just….saw me around the village."
