Amelia's P.O.V

As Skylar was making arrangements for our trip to Russia, I was wrapping all my works for a week until dad came over to take care of me. I was taking Nathan with me and it was very risky on my part to include the innocent child of mine. I set up an appointment with Pete to protect Nathan, and as Skylar was scheduled to come to my office, I called over Pete.

I was working on a new project where our industry was trying out to look into new technologies which will be especially for security reasons of the country and the meeting with the potential people would be started as soon as I'm back from Russia.

My secretary knocked on my door and informed me about Pete's presence and I motioned him to sit down,

"How are things going on from your side?" I ask him.

"I need more time and I have to go to Russia " this sentence of his grabbed my attention.

"I am going to Russia too and that is why I called you here "his eyes went wide and then he nodded me to continue,

"I asked him about his family and he went static and then he decided that we are going to Russia to meet his family for a week."

"Well, Nina knew both the brothers, and fell in love with Skylar, and then they went missing after graduation. They were spotted together once but then again, they went missing again, until Skylar resurfaced here The rest is history. She was indeed pregnant" . he finished.

"Skylar is indeed the father but what about the other brother?" I asked him.

"He also went missing after the graduation and his tracks are covered very well and that's why I need to go to Russia to solve the mystery of this," he said.

"Something is indeed fishy, " I tell him.

"Well, Zander called me and told me that his kidnapping was because of a Russian deal of his and the local mafia was involved"

"Russia thrice in a row !! Something is definitely wrong with everything... Everything is linked to this place... I feel going to Russia without a plan will definitely bring all of us down. We need Zander with us in this, and also I will have Nathan I want no harm to my son" I tell him.

"I'll immediately tell him about this and we'll plan something together" he gets up and I walk him out towards the elevator and he leaves and I gather my stuff when I hear commotion from downstairs.

I see a young man of 23 fightings with the guards who were trying to escort him from the building, I walk in front of him and tell them to drop him on the floor so that he could stand up.

"Thank you, ma'am," he tells me in between his breath and I offer him my bottle and he takes it and drinks all the water to calm down.

"Do I know you?" I ask him.

"No ma'am, but I do and I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for doing excellent work and also thanking you in advance for starting something technical for a small start-up like ours," he tells me without missing out a single breath. I smile at him,
