Zander's P.O.V

I was still in hospital heavily seduced and no news of Amelia . Mom and Dad were hesitating more like ignoring about the whereabouts about Amelia. I tried to reach her but the hospital faculty is hell bent from not releasing from the hospital , but after weeks of bantering and begging I can finally go home today.

Mom helped me with everything and I temporarily shifted back to my parent's house. Dad is looking after my business and me being the only child and sole heir it has been much more pressure and due to past events of me being kidnapped and then hospitalized for more than once has affected my company than me. Finally after asking mom finally invited Amelia over lunch and Amelia happily agreed.

Over the week I was eagerly waiting to meet her and Nathan but mom informed me that Nathan is having a camping trip with his granddad and Amelia will be visiting us alone as Skylar is out of town for the business meeting. I have a lot of questions to ask her and I have a lot to answer to. I was trying my best way to fill my gaps with my family, I did waste a lot of time doing silly things in the past.

I never felt this impatient in life. Waiting for her was absolute torture for me , looking at door every second , looking at the mirror to look much presentable. Gosh! This waiting thing is highly not for me. I used to come late from the office each day and Amelia would wait for me no matter what. I used to get irritated of her not leaving me alone and now I've been craving for attention. Suddenly I heard the doorbell chime which lead me out of my thoughts and rushed to get the door before anyone else could reach it. I stopped at the door I was too nervous to push open, I was nervous to see her and I was nervous about facing her after all the things I did to her. I calmed myself down and pushed open the door, it was all like meeting for the first date, the anticipation and the nervousness are eating from within.

As soon as I laid my eyes on her, all my thoughts seem to dissolve into somewhere volatile. There she stood looking so beautiful and pure, her simple white dress and minimal makeup with her little curls by the side of her ears seems to make her look like an angel. She was perfect and breathtaking, for a moment everything around me stopped, it was just us staring at each other with those eyes of goddess , peeking into the soul. Mom dashed towards her and hugged her and then mom pulls her inside and leaving me to close the door.

"How are you, my child?? I missed you so much" dad tells her.

"I'm fine dad, just relaxing and missing family that's all," she said.

"Nathan is a sweetheart, we miss him too," mom tells her and she smiles.

Let me tell you, she looked breath-taking, and in this small amount of time, mom and dad were very much attached to Nathan too which was quite surprising considering Nathan wasn't their own flesh and blood but they loved him like their own.

I sit next to her and she turns herself towards me," You look beautiful Amelia" I tell her will all the honesty.

"Thank you Zander and you don't look bad yourself" she complimented back.

"I have something to tell you and I think after the dinner we should talk," I tell her.

"I have to tell you something too," she tells me.

When mom and dad come back, I and dad were told to set up the table where else Amelia and mom were in the kitchen setting up the dishes. We all sat at the dinner table and then said our prayers and then jumped in. All of us talked and rather enjoyed our dinner and Amelia being her made it more memorable and the more I saw her I understood why mom and loved so much, she was perfect in everything, she was a beauty with brains and grace. Her work meant perfection. After dinner, we had a small round of drinks and I saw Amelia slowly slipping from us and walking towards the gardens, the place she loved the most whenever we visited my parents, she would have her sweet time there. I followed her and she knew it too and maybe she wanted me to follow and so she made it obvious.

"Let's talk Zander" she told me without even looking at me.

"I seriously don't really know where to start, but I'm extremely sorry for everything from the beginning to end. I won't shit talk about defending myself, I know was being selfish and I'm still being one cause I wanted to take me back, I would do everything in power to keep you happy and I will with all my life keep you satisfied and I would never give you a single chance to complain , I will even beg you cause now I know that I love you with all my heart. I want to explain to you everything before my kidnapping on the day of the party but every plan of mine failed. And crimson coming to the hospital was a shock for me too all she wanted was money and the second time you saw her all because of my plans to make you jealous, I can assure you. I know she asked about me after I was kidnapped it was all because I did not transfer the money I promised her. I know all these years you suffered a lot because of my mistakes and I don't want you to suffer anymore. Please, Amelia, don't leave me". I was pleading.

She did not utter a single word throughout our conversation and when I was really afraid of her answers, I went forward held her and kissed her with all my bottled up feelings, I could feel her receiving the shock and then slowly when I lowered the pace , she slowly started giving in and then we were making out. Suddenly, she pushed me away and the next thing she did shocked me to the core, she slapped me with all her might.

"I want a divorce".

Hello people,

I'm extremly sorry for posting so late...

I couldn't write it I simply sat in front of computer for hours but not a simple word came but eventually I finished it. And thanks to god I summed up pretty well I guess, but if you find any mistakes do comment on it. Me being a Bengali had the best Durga puja with family and friends.
