Pete's P.O.V

Going back to the warehouse without proper police protection is a foolish thing but I know the person kidnapped Zander left something or the other for me because , if he is keeping an eye on the family then he probably knows about me. I enter the room where Zander was kept and then start snooping around , but I feel like I'm already under radar and he probably knows I'm here and that's the only way I could catch him ,if he manages to catch me. I smirk internally, and then I look up I see a CCTV in the very corner and then a idea strikes me , I see the wires were connected to the CCTV which leads me to the room where all the monitors were placed. I start checking the footages and then I see all the recordings were available and I start checking all and where I come around the guy who shot himself was actually taking care and some another man looking like some bouncer would come and inject some thing on Zander's body and then leave him.

Footage of the day before we brought him out , there was a man visiting him who looked like the boss and told him something and left him and then suddenly the camera suddenly starts shaking and then cut to another footage, which was actually a messages for me,

"Hello Detective , I hope you're seeing this, which means you figured it out and you were a fool falling for the trap and now no one and stop me from achieving my dreams .You're just a small pebble which I'll kick out on my way towards success . Good bye Detective . Rest IN Peace"

I knew from the beginning all this was a trap and then I see armed men coming inside the warehouse and were coming towards and before they could get me I already did my work and surrendered myself to them pretending to be scared.

"You can never get what you want " I smiled and then they caught me and injected some drug and then sending me into slumber.

Amelia's P.O.V

I can't feel my body , nor can I move it . Am I dead??? Darkness is all around me I cannot open my eyes my eyelids are very heavy . I can hear many machinery beeping and also other noises and the smell which is mixed with machines and cleaning toiletries I can assume I am in the hospital. Commotions are heard around me but I cannot talk or respond to them my body is failing to function over and over again , the darkness doesn't leave my side, it is stressing me out. I could gear the nurse calling the doctors and the people rushing towards me. I can hear the doctor encouraging me and talking yet convincing me to keep fighting with my own body to wake up from this slumber. I wanted to see my baby badly and hug him and kiss him. I missed everyone and the flashes of accident starts flashing my mind. I start loosing myself.. I feel like the slumber is engulfing me again .... I don't want to go back in the darkness.. Somebody save me because my mind and body are fighting and in between them I'm loosing the war with myself..... and fading away....

I feel like I gained some conscious of my brains again and my senses starts working but my eyelids remain heavy but I could sense someone holding me and speaking to me,

"Amelia I know we supposed to go on a date and be together but after all this happened , I think I'm loosing you, you're so beautiful and precious but I hate doing this to you. You know right how much I like you and Nathan but I have my promise to uphold and I don't want to let go of you easily and so I'm sparing you these months because until everything is in my hands I cannot kill you. I'm very much attached to you and so is my son, but I promise everything will be over soon and you'll have a good eternal sleep" I knew that voice and I'm loathing it now.

Someone starts walking towards me and I could feel the body heat radiating off the person and then the person starts to speak,

"What a beauty she is! But unfortunately she won't be anymore like her ex- husband and her detective friend and if the plan on point . we'll turn our company into billions and Rose's will be left with nothing but rags" he ;aughed off along with the other voice and soon kissed my right cheek and left the room, I felt utterly disgusted but I couldn't do anything and before leaving they injected something on me making me hard to breathe and uneasy to sustain my life... I feel like I am never seeing my son again.. Thanks to those two bastards but they won't be spared. I will put them behind bars and that's my promise .

And the heart monitor starts beeping faster... Start counting your days back ...I'm coming after you...

                   Sorry for shorter chapters but i'm sorting everything out in my head as the story is progressing, I want to bring out the actual flavour of romance after all the problems and don't worry i won't let go of you soon .
