Skylar's P.O.V

This was it . I was waiting for so long to take her to date and finally woo her but some think or the other was just coming up but finally I had everything planned with surprises... but the one phone all ruined all my wishes and everything I thought of today. I rushed to hospital only to find Amelia on the bed attached lots of tubes and wires and her face heavily bruised, she was just unbearable to look at. I was told that her family was informed and her husband was not picking up calls and I was the next emergency number listed. Only did they know her husband was kidnapped and I meant much more than a emergency number.

Few moment after her father and Zander's family came rushing in ,his mother was crying hysterically and so was her father. I hugged him and he hugged me back , we cried quite for sometime and then doctor came in.

"Family of Amelia" we nodded.

"Is her husband or her father here?" he asked.

Mr Rose stepped in front and doctor told him to follow him in his cabin. I went near the room where Amelia was kept, she was unconscious and looked like she had hard time breathing.

I was feeling very dejected and helpless I couldn't save her but then I hear a child cry in the corner and I suddenly remember of Nathan,we forgot about him and then I look at my watch and then remember that his school was almost over . I excuse myself to pick him up from school and then feeding him .

"Sky where is mumma?" he asked innocently.

I couldn't help but tears flowed down my eyes and seeing me like this Nathan was confused but then being sweet as he was he came closer to me and hugged me and then kissed my cheeks,

"Don't cry dada I will always be with you" he told and that shocked me .

For the first time he actually called me dad and that too when Amelia was not here, I couldn't contain my happiness but I couldn't wait to share with Amelia . Finally my son acknowledges me and all my happiness was back . We finished eating and I end up telling Nathan a bed time story , I couldn't stop smiling the whole time and after kissing him a good night he finally dozed off. When I walked out of his I received a call from Unknown number,

"Hello ,who is this?" I asked.

" Hello son" He found me again.

Pete's P.O.V

Finally I found the person who was behind the kidnapping Zander. He would be under arrest anytime soon but the only thing that would be scary is his influence but if one of the minions would be under us then our case would be strong ,but first rescuing Zander was important . And after sending several bugs to his system one of the bugs worked and were into his system and eventually we could track Zander and according to latest news he would meet Zander at 8.

I took help of the police and and we tracked down the old warhouse which was east of the town and basically a shabby place where old wine were kept for recycling and due to some problems it was shut .

Police surrounded the whole place and then we proceeded inside and then one them was put down but the other one sees us and then there was open firing and then it soon died down the guy surrendered and then they took to the room where Zander was kept .

As we reached there we saw him tied to a chair and his eyes were shut , it seems he was heavily drugged and then there was a man who was holding knife at his throat and he was least bothered as he was able to open his eyes properly.

"Leave him to us" the officer ordered him.

"NO " he shouted , he looked extremely scared and troubled.

"Listen leave him and we will help you with every possible way" I told him .

He looked at me and then said," Please take care of my daughter." And then he shoots himself.

We run towards him and try to find his pulse but due to bullet being shot very close to his heart , he died soon after.

The doctor came in and Zander to hospital and then his parents were informed .Everyone would think that the problems are to be solved but they would soon know that it just started.

I called Amelia but it was unreachable and I called her dad and when he told me about her accident , I was sure the problems I was talking just began.

Unknown P.O.V

Everything was according to plan and soon everything will be mine.
