"I have the perfect idea!" The Doctor yelled.I rolled my eyes.
"Did it hurt."
The Doctor burst out laughing then stopped abruptly.
"It's not funny."
I poked him.
"You know it is."
He smiled again.
"Okey, walk out those doors and you'll find a totally different world. Allon-y!"
I looked at him and smirked. He gestured towards the door.
I opened the door and stared at the view. Flying cars zoomed around tall buildings.
"Welcome to New New York." The Doctor said coming out of has TARDIS.
"New New York?"
"Well technically it's the 15th, so it would be New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New, New York. And this is New Earth."
I laughed at the Doctor.
"Wait are you serious?" I asked.
He nodded. I breathed in and smelled something sweet.
"Is it just me, or does this grass smell like apples?"
"Correct,"the Doctor said,"it's apple grass."
I stared at him.
"I wonder what it would taste like. Grass, apples, or both."
The Doctor stared at me like I was crazy. I smacked him.
"Oi, what did I do?"
"I was just wondering! Don't look at me like I'm crazy!"
He smiled.
"So where should we go?"
"I don't know, lets just wander around."
He offered his arm to me.
"Shall we Miss Alice?"
I giggled and took his arm.
"We shall."

The Doctor's POV

I led Alice into the city. I was trying my best to hold back my sadness. I had been here twice, once with Rose, and once with Martha. My previous companions. We had to cross a bridge. Turns out it's been 200 years since I've last been here. In fact, it's the 200 anniversary since New New York was saved. (The second time thanks to me).
The city was thriving. the white buildings rose tall and there were thousands of people all around.
Alice clenched my arm tightly, she looked scared.
"Are you okey?" I asked with concern.
"I'm dead. Right now I'm dead. I'm just ashes on old Earth."
I held her hand.
"Alice, your alive right now. You walk upon New Earth right now. You are so alive right now! So don't be sad. I hate it when people are sad!"
She gave me a weak smile and we continued walking.
It seemed that everyone was gathering in one big building.
"I want to go in, there."Alice said pointing to the building.
I was curious to so I agreed and we walked inside.

The building was like a coliseum. With thousands of seats surrounding a circular area.I started looking at the people. I gasped.
"D-Doctor?"
"What Alice?"
"They're cats!" I whispered.
There were cat people walking around! And nobody seemed to care!
He looked like this was perfectly normal.
"There're cat people." I said clenching his hand.
"Yes, don't stare, it's rude. Just think of how you look to them, all pink and yellow."
I got as close as I could to the Doctor, not wanting to get lost in the crowd or run into another cat person.
His face turned red when I scooted closer to him and held his hand. But he kept on walking.
We found a seat near the front and sat down.
Another cat person sat next to me. Trying not to be rude I scooted closer to the Doctor and picked up his hand.
It's not that I don't like cats, I love cats. Cats are amazing! But cat people, big change from your normal fluffy house cat. Also I'm allergic. I sneeze every time I'm near one!
"Alice," the Doctor asked,"why are you holding my hand?"
I blushed and mouthed, cat people. He nodded and smiled at me. He squeezed my hand.
I sneezed. Again and again.
Twenty minutes of sneezing later, a lady stepped into the center of the circular area and everyone shushed.
"Welcome to the 200th anniversary of the moterway opening and the renewing of New New York." she said.
People, and cats, cheered all around us.
I sneezed again.
"And for this special occasion we have a very special thing to show you all."
The Doctor looked very interested.
People brought a covered object to the stage.
Now the Doctor looked very, very interested.
"May I present the new protectors of New New York."
The lady pulled tarp that was covering it.
All the blood drained from the Doctors face, mine too.
"Cybermen." we both said getting up and running out of the building.
