Meeting Rose

Hello my wonderful fans! Since I am so unbelievably bored I decided to post my next chapter!

Alice's POV

I woke up in a soft bed. I looked around. The Doctor was laying on a couch.

Then I remembered.The Nightmares, the Doctor saving me.

I walked over to where he was sleeping and gently shook him awake.

"Doctor," I said softly," Doctor."

He shot awake and looked around franticly.

I smiled at him.

"Good morning."

He looked startled but quickly got over his shock.

"Good morning Alice!" he said cheerfully.

I rolled my eyes at him then went to go change out of my pjs.

I took a short shower and ate some breakfast.

The Doctor also came in a little bit later while I was nibbling on a piece of toast.

I hope I can go back to my own room now. I don't exactly like people protecting me, I'm fine on my own. I'm not a little girl.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the Doctor sitting down on a wooden chair.

"Where are we going today?" I asked.

"Maybe Victorian London." the Doctor said.

I squealed and almost knocked my plate to the ground. The Doctor shot up.

"What?!" he asked pushing his plate back onto the table.

"Victorian, London!" I squealed.

"Yes?"

"I get to dress up, in a Victorian dress!!"

"Yeah?"

"Whatever you won't understand."

The Doctor gave me a puzzled look as I went into my room and dug through my closet.

I've always admired Victorian fashion. My friend used to design some Victorian dresses. I always got the best ones.

As I dug through my closet I found what I was looking for.

The Doctor's POV

As I sat at the table, I couldn't help wonder what all that fuss was about.

Girls and their dresses.

A couple minutes later I heard Alice's door open.

My mouth dropped.

She was wearing a Victorian styled TARDIS blue dress, with red lace. She had her hair up in a bun tied with a red ribbon.

She spun.

"What do you think?" she asked.

I quickly closed my mouth and said,"Lovely! I mean, lovely."

I took her arm and we walked out the door.

We came in the doors laughing our heads off.

"I can't believe you did that!" the Doctor said.

"Well it's not my fault he got to close!" I laughed.

"And you had to slap him?"

"Yes, yes I did."

We burst out laughing again.

A couple minutes later he told me I should go change then went away still laughing.

I went to my room and got out some black leggings, with a TARDIS blue shirt and some sneakers.

I was just about to put on my left shoe when I heard a knock on the TARDIS door.

I quickly slipped on my shoe and went over to the Doctor.

He was standing there while a blonde woman tackled him with a hug.

"Doctor I missed you so much!" she squealed.

I growled before coming up to them.

"Rose? Is it really you?!" the Doctor asked, white faced.

"Yep!" she said.

Rose finally let go of the Doctor and saw me.

Her eyes flashed with anger but disappeared just as quickly as it came.

"Oh, Rose, this is Alice, Alice, this is Rose. And please don't fight!" the Doctor said.

"Hello." we both said, avoiding eye contact.

The Doctor sighed and pulled us into the control room and told us he was going to make us some tea. I started a conversation with Rose.

"Soooooo." I said.

"Yeah." Rose said.

"How do you know the Doctor?"

"I used to travel with him."

"Really?"

"Yeah, your not the only one." Rose said with a sneer.

"Okay, good to know."

I was trying to be nice to Rose. But it was really hard.

"How long have you known the Doctor Rose?"

"A couple of years, you?"

"Few months."

I noticed an engagement ring on her finger.

"Who are you getting married to?

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Who?"

"The Doctor."

My mouth dropped.

"W-what? How."

Rose then explained to me about the human Doctor and how that all happened.

"He must really care about you." I told Rose.

She sighed.

"Can we be friends Alice? I'm glad the Doctor found someone again. He's lonely."

I nodded my head and we hugged.

We heard a,"yes" from behind.

We both turned to see the Doctor standing there smiling.

We both slapped him.

After an hour of Rose and the Doctor taking about ripping a hole through time and space there conversation ended.

11:00 at night isn't too late right? Besides, Rose could only stay till 12:00, I wanted to talk with her about the Doctor.

We sat on a couch in the library and talked, occasionally laughing and spilling our tea.

When it was 11:55 we all said our goodbyes to Rose and watched her disappear as the clock hit 12.

The Doctor had an expression on that broke my heart. Loneliness.

I went up to him and gave him a hug before entering my room and falling asleep.
