"Uh." What do I say? "Er, nothing." What is wrong with me? Ava rarely lies!
"Ava , what is up with you today?"
"Nothing, mom." April says casually.
"Mom?" Lucy replies confused.
"Oh um mommy?"
"Mommy?"
"Yes, mother?"
"Tell me what happened."
"I didn't do anything!" April replies.
"Really? I heard you caused a bit of confusion." Lucy raises her eyebrows.
"What?" Stop lying, April. I can do this, maybe the more people I tell they will believe me! April clears her throat. "Here's the thing....I'm not Ava." April replies flatly.
"Ava, enough!" Lucy raises her voice.
"No, I am not kidding." April says. "Please just listen!" April pleads.
"You know what, I am done! Go to your room, Ava!" Lucy screams.
"No, please just stop!"
"GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW." April with tears in her eyes ran to Ava's room. This is not working.
