When I still didn't agree to help he glared." Your the worst friend ever everyone else agreed to help." He said before leaving. I sat in my water until it was cold before showering quickly and getting dresses. And so it went for the next 3 months until josh became outride rude not. Even willing to see me. I was breaking on the inside so when my associate told me he was selling and moving out. So I packed everything and loaded it into my moving truck.but I needed to start on a clean slate so I had josh meet me at the local bat with our friends I was going to tell him I needed him more as a friend then as nothing.
I was literally shaking as u walked in to see practically everyone we knew. Josh looked stringer but sad defeated almost I was gonna do this for both of us. I settled into the seat next to him and smiled but he growled. ' so give who is it?' He asked. " your looking at him" I said but he became enraged and punches me in the face. I tried to stand but he kicked me and the bartender had to pull him back ." you think this is funny this is my heart you little fucked up think that's why your going to die alone." He yelled. I looked at him in shock scooting away in defeat.He stepped closer and I scrambled to my feet before sprinting out of the bar and to the nearest hotel I'd be gone by morning.
Josh POV
Once Silas was fine I turned back to my beer and finished it. I heard ramblings and saw my friend Casey coming but I ignored her until I felt a slap cross my face. I turned and nearly the whole bar stood to watch the show. " your a real piece of shit josh. You attacked him the guy is 5 ft tall." She said. I just shrugged " he shouldn't have lied." I said but her eyes swole and nose flared. " he finally told you and you beat him up." She screamed. I quirked my head to the side " told me what ?" I asked. She let out a scorndyl laugh." You didn't believe him. The mans been in love with you Dir ages. Gave you his virginity and you didn't believe him" she said. Then I looked at everyone else some faces angry some guilty as it sunk in." You all knew.' I said and they nodded . I headed home deciding to get some sleep. But I woke up and tried to call Silas no answer. I went to his condo and there was a sale sighn. The neighborhood just stared." O hunny Silas left something about some guy named josh." She mumbled. " he he was gone.
I stopped by his company to see him and he had sold it. I went to my car and drove home checking my mail There was a single letter with no stamp.
I ran inside and ripped the letter open.
