Azura's POV
It's been a couple days since I ran into Kane and since he explained who he was to me.
It doesn't justify his actions at all. If anything, it made me even more pissed off. Not only did he watch someone get killed, but he also admitted to have killed many people before.
That's not just something you're told and in response you act like it's okay. Because it isn't.
I've only met Kane once before the last time we were together. That day we spent together, he helped me relax and feel like I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I was even a little mesmerized by him, and then I found out who he really is.
I didn't have feelings for him, he just interested me. That one day felt like I knew him for so much longer.
He was so easy to talk to but now? Now I might even be a little scared to be around him. I don't actually know him. I only spent one day with him and I don't know what he might do to me.

"Bro, what are you going to do now without a job?" Paige asked me while I poured the pancake batter on the pan. She sat at the table watching me. "I don't need to work for anyone and you and I both know that." I sighed.
I was kind of frustrated. Not at Paige, but at Kane. Mostly at what he told me.
She stayed quiet and I put down the spatula and leaned on the counter. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean... to be rude. Im just a bit frustrated right now."
Paige smiled and nodded her head. "It's fine."
"How many are you going to want?" I asked her, now having made a couple pancakes and hash browns. "Mmm... I'll take 3 pancakes and 2 hash browns chef." I giggle and put the food on her plate handing it to her. "Order up!"
"You still haven't answered my question Azura." I actually forgot about her question that she had asked me just a minute ago. I looked at her with a proud smile held on my face.
"I'm going to open up my own bakery slash restaurant." -Me
"Dude! That's huge! Are you absolutely sure about this?" -Paige
I put 2 pancakes on my plate and 1 hash brown before sitting next to her and nodding my head with a smile while chewing on the pancake in my mouth.
"Well I'm happy for you." She said stuffing her mouth with hash brown. "And I'm here for you if you need anything. Okay?" I smile at her and nod. Then we finish our breakfast together before she leaves to go work.
Someone has to.

I've been in my room sitting at my desk creating the layout of my future bakery/restaurant. I wanted to be prepared. I learned a lot from just working as an employee but now I was going to own the place.
I wanted to make it look and feel homey. With many themes not just one so that everyone can find their place in the bakery/restaurant where they feel comfortable. The building itself was going to be fairly large itself.
I'm going to talk to some people next week about starting construction.
I'm so excited!

I fell asleep watching a show when I heard the front door open and close softly. I jump knowing Paige doesn't get off until 5.
