Childhood days[Part 11]

'Everyone was really surprised by my mature level of thinking.

I guess having a more mature and an older mind in a childs body can really do it's wonders. I mean, even Lee who's worked the hardest out of all the people in the series couldn't match up to me if we were to spar right now. Then again, if we fight in the chunnin exams then I maybe it would be close to a tie? I guess it's as they say, 'Work smart not hard.' or was it something else?'

<I wanna learn more ninjutsu and bukijutsu.>

"Did you already master the cloning technique, the substitution technique and the the transformation technique?"-Kakashi

Kakashi was saying it as if he knew that Veronica wouldn't be able to master them so easily. What he didn't know was that, while he was busy with his missions Veronica had trained very hard and even got Naruto to almost master the said techniques with her. He was still a bit lacking but was doing good enough for his age.

She had been able to study almost all of the academy's theoretical syllabus in the days which had passed by and started her learning on bukijustu. Although it was taking her a while to learn since she was focusing on understanding on the basics of it but for someone so young it was already a big shock that she had been able to finish the academy's syllabus. Well, for some people it was. Since there were many who had been ten times much better than her at her age.

Although she seemed to like her current situation. She wasn't labelled as a genius or anything just a smart kid. Which was all she wanted.

'Naruto has almost mastered the three basic jutsus. He's actually not that dumb as he was portrayed in the series.

Maybe it's a matter of how he grew up. Whatever.

He's studying hard too now, almost as intelligent as Shino in the written exams I'm guessing. Should I make him train with me in the ninjustus? Taijutsu was fine since it probably wouldn't affect the story line too much but what about ninjutsu and the other jutsus?

I'll just train on my own and if he wants to join me then he can.

I'm guessing I'm at the level of a low level genin right now. Maybe. I should keep increasing my chakra reserves. I'll get Kakashi to teach me some new stuff to try.

He's really helped me out. I don't know how the hell do those people in fanfics train without having a single teacher to guide them. Or even work so hard that they can learn the whole of fuinjutsu, bukijutsu and what not in a couple of years at most [Usually I find that they learn these things in a few months]. I've been trying to get the hang of bukijutsu for months now and I've made so little progress. Then again, I am doing better than a lot of people. For now my level of shuriken and kunai throwing is good enough. I'll keep training it as I grow older.

I'm still learning how to hold the sword properly and explosive tags are something which Kakashi hasn't allowed me to use yet. I'll just have to wait for when the academy will teach us that then. I'm not gonna learning how to use a staff for battle yet. It wouldn't do me well if I learn too many arts before I even graduate since people could get sceptical. I could learn to use a puppet after the chunnin exams since I could even ask Kankuro for some advice till then.

For others, I'm not that sure yet. Since I'm hanging out with Tenten these days I can get some tips and such from her use of weapons so that helps a lot.'

Kakashi didn't know what to think when he heard that both Veronica and Naruto had almost mastered the basic techniques. He thought they'd been playing around and having fun and not focusing much on training.

The next few days veronica decided to take it easy and only meditated and exercised daily. She spent her time playing around with the kids and pulling a couple of pranks with Naruto. She also noticed that Sasuke was becoming more and more of an emo and teased him about it.

'I just realized that I completely forgot about Minato... Well, it could be due to me or something. Maybe I lost some memories or something? Or there are more people like me. It would be nice to have someone to talk to about these things. These are the only things I can think of right now... This is really worrying though. I can't even be sure if the future events will happen the same as the series portrayed them. This is gonna be a pain...'

Veronica sighed for maybe the thousandth time since she came here.
