Jaclyn's P.O.V
I ran and ran and ran. To get away from the monsters.
The demons
I ran up the slide and hopped down the bridge. I jogged to my secret hiding place.
A meadow
It has this little pond with trees all around it. I sat up against a tree. And curled up into a ball. This is a place where I can be free.
Where I can escape.
I felt a hot tear fall down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away. I felt tears brimming my eyes. Desperately pleasing to fall. Then I broke down. I sobbed and sobbed until I had no more tears. I just layed there feeling my heart break into a tiny million pieces. I heard a twig snap and I jolted up. It was just a dog
Whew
It slowly came up to me as I reached my hand out. "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." I said. He nuzzled his nose against my hand and I petted him. I looked down at his collar and saw tags
'Libby'
"What a beautiful name." I said. She plopped down onto my lap and fell asleep. I positioned my backpack and layed down. I fell asleep thinking about everything.

*SNAP!*
I jolted upwards and saw a tall male boy jog towards me. As he came closer and closer I realized.
ITS JACK GILINSKY!
Standing in my presence. "Sorry to startle you but I was just looking for my dog. I see you've found her." He said and chuckled. I was i. Awe as he bent over to grab his dog. "I'm Jack. Jack Gilinsky." He said with a smile and outstretched his hand. I gladly accepted it and he hoisted me up.
"I'm Jaclyn Weathers." I said with a smile. He gave me his number and said "I'll see you around Jaclyn." He said and jogged off. I was left standing there.
