Ever since the kiss at the beach Jack has been avoiding me. I walked down the stairs and something hard smashed into my face. My nose started throbbing and I brought my fingers up to my nose. I looked at my fingers and a red substance covered my fingers. I looked up to see a worried Cameron. "Oh my god Jaclyn! Are you okay?" He asked frantically observing my face. I laughed and winced in pain. He picked me up. I have no idea I mean I could walk. He sat me down on the bathroom counter and cleaned off my nose. "So Cameron. What did you hit me with anyways?" I asked trying not to laugh. "A basketball." He said quietly. "I'm really sorry I didn't mean to. I was going to throw it at Jack but he was like zoned out. He looked sad though and then you came down the stairs and I meant to hit him in the stomach. I didn't know I threw it hard and It hit you. Is there anything wrong between you and jack?" He asked concerned. Tears welled up in my eyes at the thought of him not being my friend. I looked down and a tear slipped down my cheek. "Jacyln look at me." He said sternly but with a hint of sadness and concern in his voice. He lifted my chin up and wiped away the tear. "Let's get this settled right now." He said "JACK FINNEGAN GILINSKY! GET UP HERE!" He yelled.

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. As soon as I saw jacks face I almost cried. "Do you like Jacylyn?" He asked. He thought for a minute and then said "No I guess." He said slowly observing my face. As soon I heard those words I jumped off the counter and ran out the front door. I heard Cameron yelling but I didn't listen. I ran as fast as my little legs could take me. Tears poured down my face and my heart ached. Suddenly I felt a rain drop hit my head. But I kept running. I ran into the nearest ally way and slid down the wall. I sobbed at the thought of his words. I got up and screamed and kicked the wall in anger.

"What's wrong little lady." I heard a slurred voice say. I froze in fear. Instantly I felt arms wrap around my waist and cover my mouth. I screamed but it was muffled. "Now we're going to make this short. If you would be still it won't last long." He said. Alcohol lingered in his voice. I bit his finger and he uncovered my mouth. He slammed my head into the wall and kicked my stomach. "HELP ME!" I screamed. I felt the beating stop. I looked up and saw two guys beating up the man. I recognized the hair and saw Cameron and Jack. Jack hurried over to me and picked me up. He ran to the car and sat me down. I tried to sit up but I just fell over and blacked out.

I woke up in my bed. I sat up and instantly felt a throbbing sensation in my head. I ignored it and got up out of bed. I sluggishly walked down the stairs and meeted a shirtless Jack. He turned around and saw me. I didn't want to speak to him so I just grabbed a piece of bacon and went outside.

I sat down on the swing and noticed the sky was gray and dull. Like me. As I kept thinking about things I noticed a shifting beside me. I looked over and saw Jack staring at me. "Jacylyn Im sorry. The truth is that that kiss meant something. I didn't just do it for fun. And what I said. I didn't mean any word of it. I truly love you and I just can't help but melt when I look at you. Ever since I laid eyes on you I knew you were the one. Your the only one that makes me feel special. You mean something to me. I've never felt this much love towards one person and when I saw that man touching you. Something went off inside me. I don't know what it was but at that moment I realized I was in love you. You just don't see it." He said. I couldn't help but smile like a maniac. He crashed his lips onto mine and once again I felt sparks.

When our lips disconnected he caressed my cheek. "Jacylyn Makayla Weathers would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend." He asked. "It would be my honor." I said and crashed my lips onto his. We got up off the swing hand in hand after we kissed and walked in the living room. The boys noticed our hands and started screaming and jumping around.

I giggled and they all asked "Are you guys together?" Jack said "Happily together." He said and smiled at me. The guys all congratulated us and we all watched Netflix for the rest of the day while I cuddled up to Jack.
