~flashback~
Skyworld, gone. Wait. Where is Lady Palutena? I gotta go to the temple.

Phew. I'm finally he- who is that on the ground. No, it can't be. Palutena is dead. How could this happen. She was like a mother to me.

I will always remember that day.
Dark Pit's P.O.V
I woke up in the middle of the night there somebody crying. I walked over to Pit's tent, looked in, and saw Pit weeping. I slowly walked in. "I can't take it Pitoo, I can't take the loss of Skyworld, my friends, Palutena. I should just plunge my sword right into my heart." He said. "No! Don't! Please." I yelled. He pulled out his sword, ready to perish, but I grabbed his hands, "Don't." I whispered. He looked into my eyes, and asked me 1 question, "Why?" I didn't know how to answer. It was only a few seconds, but it felt as it was an eternity. "Don't." I repeated. Again, he asked, "Why?"
I took a deep breath, "Though both of us have lost things, we must go on, even if circumstances are rough. We must do what we set out to, for we cannot give up now. We need to carry on, and defeat Pandora. You need revenge, and what do I need? Pit, I need you."
Pit's P.O.V
I was astounded. I didn't know Pitoo had this in him. I didn't know what to say, so I didn't, I sat there. I dropped my sword, and hugged him.
Dark Pit's P.O.V
He dropped his sword, and hugged me. I hugged back. There were no words spoken for the rest of the night, even though neither of us slept. The next morning, we didn't feel like traveling. Neither of us had gotten any sleep last night, and we were both really tired. So instead, we just went to sleep. When I woke up, Pit was still asleep. He was murmuring something, but I couldn't make out what he said. I just sat there for a while, before getting up so I could get some food. When I went back, Pit was awake. "I'm hungry." He told me. "Let's go get you some food." I responded. We walked over to where we normally eat, and I got him some food. We both just sat there while he ate. We didn't say anything, just sat there.
