DAYCARE LOVE ; k. tobio

goodnight, kana and kenji

monday night
7:12 P.M.

now tobio did say shoyo was coming
over for dinner. that was before the twins
begged and begged, to stop by
chuck e. cheese.

the ravenette did disagree at first, saying
it's a school night, and he wanted them
to try and go to bed early. but, that didn't
sit right with kana.

not wanting to her ear piercing cries, he
ended up just giving in, and told shoyo to
meet them at chuck e. cheese instead.

it was getting late, and the establishment
was soon to be closing.

kageyama looked down at kana, who was
playing 'whack-a-mole', though, she missed
every single mole's head that popped up.

tobio kageyama
"kana, we need to
leave soon, munchkin."

kana kageyama
"daddy! daddy! can i
pleasee have more tokens?!"

tobio kageyama
"no, no more tokens.
this place is going to close
soon, so we need to leave."

kana's bottom lip protruded.

kana kageyama
"but—but i didn't get any tickets!"

kageyama crouched down to his
daughter's height, and patted her head.

tobio kageyama
"it's alright, you can get
tickets next time, okay?"

kana nodded slowly.

kana kageyama
"okay..."

tobio smiled, giving her a peck
on the forehead. he stood up to his
full height, holding onto kana's hand.

he scanned the area with a
black eyebrow raised.

tobio kageyama
"do you know where kenji
and uncle sho are?"

kana tapped her small chubby
fingers to her chin, thinking and
already forgetting about her
nonexistent tickets.

kana kageyama
"the ball pit i think! they might
not be there any-anymore, though."

tobio reached into his pocket
for his phone, about to call the
ginger, until a smaller voice called out.

kenji kageyama
"daddy! we're over here!"

hearing the sound of his son's voice,
kageyama turned.

approaching, was kenji holding two
stuffed animals, while shoyo held
his bright red jacket.

a bright smile on both of their faces.

kenji kageyama
"look! look! i got two plushies!"

"one for me and one for kana!"

kana's eyes lit up at that, and she gave
her brother a hug.

kana kageyama
"thank you, kenji!"

"can i have the green one?"

kenji nodded handing over the green
bird plushie, while keeping the red
one for himself.
