"So like how is Sydney?" Leon groaned into the phone. Leon was busy on a mission, but wanted to check up on his sisters to see how they were doing.

"We are loving it here leon! We thank you so much for helping us" Manami cheered happily into the other end. Manami was on her way to a job interview, her first one in fact.

"That good to hear, are you ok? Your like huffing" he pointed out, his voice monotoned. Manami was in fact huffing, all her energy was drained upon running down the street.

"I'm just on my way to a job interview" she gasped. Her feet increased speed, slowly running out of time. Leon said his goodbyes, hanging up. She slipped her phone back into her purse, just entering the glass doors of the building in front of her. Cold air engulfed her flushed face, her red cheeks fading to a faint pink. Quickly combing her hair back down she entered the elevator. Silence surrounded her, her breathe shallow and short. The electronic doors opened, a receptionist sat at her desk. Her pair of blue eyes staring at her, "you must be Manami Honda?" She questioned. Manami nodded, "right this way please" the receptionist told her pointing to the left. Manami strode over, down the hallway, the clacking of her high heels against the cold tiles. A glass door came into view, the transparency blurred, making it impossible to see inside. As her knuckles meet the door, a echoing knock filled the surrounding area.

"Come in" a sharp voice called out. As Manami's touched the chilled doorknob, all her nerves tensed up. Her palms, clammy, sweat beating down her forehead. as Manami swallowed the lump in her throat, she entered. A woman, gold hair, brown eyes, sat at a mahogany, wood, desk.

"Miss Honda please take a seat" the lady commanded. Swiftly Manami sat down, watching the woman before her. As this woman opened her resume, her nerves kicked in. Manami's heartbeat played in time with the thwacking of the pen on the desk, her breathe short, shaky, sharp. The lady stared at Manami, examining her composure. Manami jumped staring back at her, those brown eyes watching her with intimidation.

"So miss Honda you speak fluent Japanese correct?" She asked tilting her head to the side, resting it on her wrist.

"Hai I do miss...." Manami replied, shortening her sentence as she was not aware of her name.

"Miss orchid, you can address me as miss orchid" she spoke.

Manami's nerves faded slowly, feeling calmer by knowing her name. more questions flooded out of miss orchid's mouth, which Manami answered truthfully. By the end of her interview she was a lot calmer, and awaited for her response.

"We shall hire you but if you show any struggle or slacking off you'll be fired" miss orchid States. Manami smiles with happiness, thanking the woman. As Manami left the building, heat blasted in her face, sun beating down harshly. Walking home she was greeted by a hug.

"Nee-San! Your home!" Aya cheered, hugging her sisters waist. Manami smiled and knelt down, retuning her hug.

"Nee-San we have a letter!" Aya cheered excitedly. Manami raised her eyebrows in a surprised manor. As Aya ran off to collect the letter, Manami closed the front door. she removed her heels, rubbing her aching feet and went to sit on the couch. Aya came to join her, passing her the letter.

"Let's read shall we?" Manami smiled. Carefully her fingers gripped the paper, tearing it open. After constant scrunching noises she unfolded the letter. Quickly glancing over the words, her eyes widened, a sigh escaping her lips. Their rent had crept up on them, and they had no money. Her little sister examined the letter.

"We have to pay our rent yet we have no money" Aya pointed out. Manami sighed knowing she was telling the truth.

"What are we going to do nee-san?" Aya asked her. Manami stared at her sister, her eyes laced with distress. her lip quivered before she looks away.

"I don't know..." She whispered, her voice barely audible at all. A small hand crept it's way to Manami's cheek. It was Aya's hand, which filled Manami with some hope.

"We will figure it out nee-San besides we have to pay by the end of the week we have time" Aya reassured her. Wrapping her skinny arms around her, Manami held her sister securely, hiding her face in her shoulder. Manami felt her head being stroked by Aya, this calmed her worried down quite a lot, smiling slightly once again. Her arms returned to her sides, eyes staring down at Aya. Her eyes softened, half lidded, smiling at Aya.

"Your absolutely right" Manami said, lifting her hand, gently ruffling her sisters hair. Together they sat, talking and thinking how to overcome this struggle. For many other surprises awaited them in the future.
