Rebellion against family

Life goes on

Spring time. A time for families to be spending time together, laughing, playing and going on holidays. This was different for Manami and Aya, they had to figure out a way to live in peace without being discovered through their little sly lie. Of course this meant monitoring what the mafia was up too. Neither one of them has heard from leon since the "visit" perhaps he rally believed they were dead.

"When will leon come to visit again?" Aya questioned, she didn't bother to look up from her homework, too busy with the questions proposed to her on paper. Manami sighed, she honestly had no idea when he would visit them again. She knew she couldn't call him, mafia track all calls to members who are receiving calls from those who are the enemy.

"I don't know Aya" Manami answered her bluntly.

"Maybe we can ca-"

"No Aya, we can't call him, mafia track all calls" she sighed. Ignorance is bliss, however this was starting to annoy her. In truth, she wanted to see leon again for comfort, to know they were safe and protected. Manami walked out onto the balcony. The crisp morning air, brushing her messy hair away from her face. As Manami stared out into the harbour, she wondered about the life of the mafia, how was leon doing? Was he even alive? Does their father even worry about them? Will they become a family again? She shook her head at the last question, it's too late for their family.

Without anything else to consider, she stepped into her home. Her body motioned towards Aya, looking over her shoulder and smiling.

"You've got the question wrong bean bun" she chuckled walking off. Aya groaned in frustration and erased the previous answer she placed, sitting quietly working out the answer.

But as Manami watched her erase such a problem with ease, she wondered...was their problem as easily erasable?
