Regulus always knew his parents would force him into a loveless marriage, but the idea of marrying a pureblood he was related to, distantly or not, had never really appealed to him. Even less when he feel in love in sixth year. Y/n. Sweet, gentle, muggleborn Y/n. His parents expected a bit of a hassle with Regulus when presenting future wife options to him, but each girl they had ever left him alone to talk to had fled the Black house in tears.
