Chapter 6: The Octarian's Spy

Tails, Knuckles, and Agent 4 came out from the Boss Kettle from their success on defeating Octo Stomp once again. The plug short circuited as the barricade blocking the launchpad to the next area exploded.

"Callie and the Great Zapfish are somewhere up ahead, Agents." Marie said.

"Let's head on forward, guys." Sonic said as he activated the Inkrail.

Sonic rode the rail, as Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Agent 4 followed him to the launchpad and onwards to the next area.

The 5 Agents landed at the next area of Octo Canyon.

"Well, it looks like there's a lot of furlers." Agent 4 said.

"Yeah. Alright let's get going." Sonic said as he went off.

Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Agent 4 went off to the other lairs to save the Zapfish.

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles came out from the Octarian lair as Amy and Agent 4 were waiting for them. The Boss Kettle steamed as the top came off and the entrance was now open.

"The Boss Kettle opened! I sure hope the Great Zapfish is down there..." Marie said.

"Let's hope so." Agent 4 said as she and everyone else went for the Boss Kettle.

As they were about to enter, Sheldon wanted another weapon test.

"I could REALLY use some more data on these Charger weapons. Can you use them for a bit?" Sheldon said.

"Alright, Sheldon." Sonic said.

Sonic, Tails, and Agent 4 entered the Boss Kettle, which leaves Amy and Knuckles staying behind.

(After Octo Shower exploded...)

Agent 4 freed the Zapfish, and Tails and Sonic retrieved the cyan and white Chaos Zap-Orbs.

"That was an intense battle! And the Octo Shower had 2 Zap-Orbs on him." Sonic said.

"But at least we have them all back now." Tails said.

"Since we do, Sonic can go super and crush Eggman and Octavio." Knuckles said.

"Yeah. But, there might be a problem with that." Marie said.

"What do you mean?" Sonic asked.

"Well..." Marie said.

"RUN! LEAVE NOW AND NEVER LOOK BACK!" ??? said.

"It's the Octarian who's been trying to hack on our transmissions." Amy said.

"Are... Uh... Are you hold the phone upside down?" Marie asked.

"Ugh... I totally was." ??? said.

"I think it might be Jinx." Tails said.

"No, I don't think it's her. Jinx is accurate. Not clumsy." Knuckles said. "The only one clumsy enough to hold their phone upside down would be... Wait! CALLIE?! Is that you?"

"CALLIE?!" Marie was in shock.

"Um... Nope, this is not Callie! So just... leave. It's dangerous here! And it's not safe at all!" Callie said, trying to not blow her cover.

"Ummmm... Don't those mean the same thing?" Marie asked.

"WHATEVER! JUST GET OUT OF HERE! I'm not calling again!" Callie said as she left the transmission.

"W-wait! Don't go! Callie?! CALLIE!" Marie said worried.

"Callie, WAIT!!!" Knuckles said anxious.

"She left the transmission." Agent 4 said.

"Dangit!" Knuckles said frustrated.

"I... I can't believe it. Could Callie really be working with the Octarians? Agents, I need your help now more than ever." Marie said worried.

"Don't worry, Marie. We'll help out through all of this!" Amy said.

"We all will. And we'll find Callie." Agent 4 said.

"Thanks you guys. I knew you would still help me. LET'S GO!" Marie replied.

The Squidbeak Splatoon has finally retrieved the remaining Zap-Orbs. But could Callie really be working with the Octarians on her will? Or did Eggman and Octavio do something to her...
