Another remake of the Sonic and Splatoon Story Mode Crossover. This will be the second story remade on here I've done. (Besides the Dark with Envy story I wrote.) Plot: Sonic and the others are headed back to Inkopolis for the Splatfest Tournament...
The Inkling girl came out from the sewer hubcap as she was in an unknown area.
"Whoa. Where am I?" She said wondering where she is.
She then saw someone standing in a yukata with a parasol opened in her hand.
"Hmm... The Octarians..." She said as she turned around revealing herself to be Marie.
Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles came out of the hubcap as well as they ran into the Inkling girl and Marie.
"Hey... You guys showed up!" Marie said seeing the legendary Agents returned.
"It's good to see you again Marie." Sonic said.
"It's good to see you guys again too. I'm just gonna finish talking to the Inkling girl if that's okay." Marie replied.
"Sure, go on ahead." Sonic said as he and the others went to get their Squidbeak gear on.
"As soon as I saw you aimlessly wandering around the square, I knew you were the one." Marie continued talking to the Inkling girl. "I'm Marie. I know you're probably a bit starstruck, but I need you to get over it."
"Okay." The Inkling girl said.
"Yes, I'm THAT Marie. You know...from the Squid Sisters." Marie doing her signature pose.
"Never heard of you." The Inkling girl replied.
"You never heard of me? For eel?" Marie said surprised.
"Nope, not a bit." She replied.
"Well you obviously aren't very cultured, but you'll have to do with the rest of the Agents." Marie said back. "See, I've got a little...thing I need some help with."
"Okay. What's the crisis?" The Inkling girl asked.
"By now you've heard that the Great Zapfish that powers Inkopolis Square is missing." Marie explained. "Well it's not just missing-it's been squidnapped by the Octarian Menace. And Agent S' nemesis from his world."
"How do you know so much about this?" She asked again.
"How do I know this? On the surface I may just look like an absurdly talented pop star... But in truth...I'm Agent 2 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, a new society of heroes who save the world from Octarians!" She explained.
"Whoa! That's insane!" The Inkling girl said in shock.
"Now, I've been trying to keep an eye on the Octarians in my downtime, but I'm a busy girl." Marie said. "*If only Callie was around to lend a hand...*"
"Even famous people are busy." The Inkling girl said.
"Ahem... I need YOU and the Agents to get the Great Zapfish back from those slimy Octarians!" What do you say? Are you in?" Marie said.
"I'll do it!" The Inkling girl nodded.
"Good. Welcome aboard. You are now Agent 4 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon." Marie said. "I even bought you a brand-new Hero Suit as a signing bonus."
Marie then threw a smoke bomb at the Inkling girl. As the smoke disappeared she now wore a set of Squidbeak Splatoon gear.
"*Cough*, *cough*. Whoa!" The Inkling girl said as she was now in a set of Squidbeak Splatoon gear and Hero Shot in her hand.

"And look at that- it fits like a glove!" Marie said. "*Not bad for a hand-me-down.* Now let's tear those Octarians limb from limb! Oh yeah-the entrances to the Octarian Realms are invisible, so you'll have to ink them to reveal the entrance."
Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles came back out as they were in their Squidbeak gear. Their jackets matched their color of hair, headphones with bit of sequined light, their shoes were changed in color, but more protective, and their weapons in hand.
"We'll help you out, if you need it." Tails said.
"Thanks." Agent 4 said.
"I'll help you out, Agent 4." Knuckles said.
"C'mon! Let's go!" Sonic said.

(After the first 3 levels have been finished...)
Knuckles and Agent 4 came out first, Sonic and Tails came out second, and Amy came out last. With the first 3 Zapfish saved, the Boss Kettle steamed as the entrance opened.
"The Boss Kettle's open! You've got this, Agents." Marie said.
"Let's get going. Follow us." Knuckles said as Agent 4 followed him.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy followed with them as they all entered the Octarian lair.

*Knuckles and Agent 4 start first, then Amy second, and Sonic and Tails last.*
(After Octo Oven blew up...)
Agent 4 freed the Zapfish. And Sonic found the blue Chaos Zap-Orb.
(Transmission 1)
"Good work, Agents. I sure know how to pick 'em." Marie said. "Gotta hand it to the Octarians, though. I didn't expect them to have fully operational octobosses at their disposal."
"And they must've gotten the Zap-Orbs while we were gone." Sonic said.
"Yeah. They did. I think it's time to call in the big guns." Marie said. "Let's see here... Sheldon? Can you hear us? Over!"
"I hear you loud and clear, Marie! Over! OH MAN THIS IS SO COOL! Ahem..." Sheldon said as he joined the transmission. "Agents, I'm Sheldon from Ammo Knights, the only weapon shop in Inkopolis with over 542 million years of trusted service..."
"I know him. He's the one who tweaked our weapons when we first came to Inkopolis." Tails said.
"Oh, hey Tails. Or should I say Agent T. Sorry..." Sheldon greeted him. "That's right-stop by Ammo Knights in Inkopolis Square for all your weapon needs. Tell me Sheldon sent you."
"Okay then." Agent 4 said.
"Marie told me everything! To think that my signature weapons can be of help to the New Squidbeak Splatoon! I'm honored!" Sheldon continued. "But I'm afraid I can't just let you treat my vast arsenal like an all-you-can-ink buffet. I do have a business to run, you know."
"This is a crisis Sheldon. Don't you remember?" Knuckles said.
"So let's help each other out - I want you Agents to test out some new weapons I'm currently developing!" Sheldon replied. "All you have to do is use them in real-world conditions. If you do that for me, I'll be able to gather all sorts of amazing data!"
"We'll be honored to do so." Sonic said.
"Good. Then that data will help me get the approvals I need to make retail versions of the weapons." Sheldon continued. "And once the retail versions are out, you can use them in Turf War battles! It's a real win-win, don't you think? OH, YEAH! And..."
"OK. Down, boy. I think they get the point." Marie said. "Let's get back to work Agents. Stay Fresh!"

The Squidbeak Splatoon is back! They're on the hunt once again. With a Chaos Zap-Orb back in the Agents possession, who knows what Octavio and Eggman will do...
