4: Homeroom Horror

The night after I opened my UA acceptance letter, he finally got in touch with me again. Izuku and I planned to meet All Might at the beach tonight and I was just tying up my boots when I noticed a tuft of green hair at the door. I opened my purse and Tikki quickly flew in then I opened the door.

"Congrats on getting in!" I grinned.

"You too, I still just can't believe you got Bakugo to team up with you." He said.

"Well, I earned a few bad nicknames in the process, but it wasn't all bad." I laughed awkwardly. "Anyway, race you to All Might. First one there is the true number one fan!" I sang and took off at a sprint.

"Hey! That's cheating!" Izuku yelled and soon caught up to me.

"You're taller so I get a head start!" I called.

It was sound logic...well in my mind anyway. We quickly made it to the beach and were kicking up quite a sandstorm, causing civilians to stare of run away. We both caught sight of the skinny pro at the same time and sprinted as fast as we possibly could.

"All Might!" We yelled and collapsed at his feet.

"I won!" I yelled and rested my hands on my knees, not feeling so hot.

"No way!" Izuku panted and we glared at each other then gave up because energy want a thing anymore.

"Too loud!" The pro scolded us and we quickly realized why.

"All Might's here?"

"No way! Where?"

"Way to blow my cover. Say it was a mistake." He panicked.

"I was just kidding!" Izuku yelled and waved his arms frantically.

"Nothing to see here!" I added nervously.

"Lame."

"I wanted an autograph."

Come on lady, you just wanted to see him in a swimsuit. Not that I blame you of course.

"Congrats on getting in." All Might told us.

"I couldn't have done it without your help!" Izuku thanked him and bowed.

"Same!" I agreed and followed in suit.

"Oh, speaking of which." The pro began. "I didn't tell anyone at UA that I've been training you or anything."

"Really?" I gasped and became extremely happy.

"Really. I wasn't one of the judges, and I didn't pull any strings for ya. You earned your spots all on your own."

"Wow, thanks for telling me." The boy said and continued bowing. "I'm glad to hear that!"

"Oh, yeah!" I gasped and realized I had another question to ask. He tried to get away from me once, but not again. "I was really surprised to hear you're gonna be
a teacher at UA this year! I was wondering what brought you here all of a sudden."

Izuku nodded and continued for me. "After all, your agency is in Minato, Tokyo,"

"‐‐and everyone knows‐‐" We said.

"Gettin' creepy." All Might snapped and shivered at our infinite knowledge of his life. "The school didn't want me telling anyone about the job until they made
an official announcement. It seemed like fortuitous timing. An easy way to find someone new to inherit One For All. I was on a long hunt for a successor."

So that's it. He was originally planning to give it to a UA student. Someone who was strong. Who already had a Quirk. I hope this doesn't upset Izuku.

"Your power completely wrecked my body." The green haired boy said and frowned at the sand. "And all I did was jump and throw one punch. I can't control it. What do I do?"
