If you ever have any Gally imagine ideas, tell me!!! I'll use them and give you credit (:

Okay so this is from the book perspective

You stared at the door in fear. Your heart was beating out of your chest, you were so scared. The Grievers were here.

You gripped Thomas's hand in fear because you knew he was worried about Teresa, stuck in the Slammer. You would have been worried about Gally, but he was already gone. He ran into the Maze days ago and nobody had seen from him since.

You felt a sick adrenaline crawl up your throat and you clutch your stomach. You let out a quiet shriek as there was a cracking sound against the Homestead and the Gladers around you flinched.

"Y/N it's okay." Newt whispered from behind you and you tried to take deep breaths. The maze had terrified you more than the other Gladers ever since you'd gotten there.

You wished Chuck was there. Or Teresa. You felt helpless as she was stuck in the Slammer and Chuck upstairs. You couldn't save Gally, what if you lose them too?

You felt those around you fall asleep, including Thomas and Minho. Newt was wide awake though and every once in a while he would read Thomas's watch and mouth to you what time it was. 11 p.m. 12 a.m. 1 a.m. 1:30 a.m. It was at 2 a.m. that the air in the Glade changed and everyone was wide awake.

A mechanized surge of machinery sounded from outside, followed by unfamiliar rolling clicks that caused Thomas's eyes to go wide in fear. He and Minho shared a look and you realized that the Grievers were very, very close.

You heard it roll right past the door and Newt was up in an instant. He waved his arms to get everybody's attention and then put a finger to his lips. Your breathing quickened even more.

Newt put his eye up to one of the cracks in the wall and Thomas tiptoed over to look as well. Seeing as you were still clutched to his hand, you ended up by the cracks as well.

The Glade was empty from all you could see. You tried turning from side to side but eventually felt too exposed and stumbled backwards, landing on a surprised Minho. Thomas returned to his seat and Newt sat back on the bed.

Only minutes later, the Griever noises were back. The squeal of small engines followed by a grinding spin of metal. The clicking of spikes against hard stone. Something snapping and opening and snapping. Gally had been killed by these. These horrific beings. You never hated the Creators more than at that exact moment.

You reminded yourself to breathe and you squeezed your arms around your legs, hugging them to your chest. One of the Grievers were definitely getting closer.

How was Gally brave enough to run into something like this?

It was basically defying gravity as it tore up the window and clung there. All the Gladers scootched to one side of the building, far from the window. You were too scared to move.

"Y/N!" Somebody hissed and you clamped your mouth shut and swallowed quietly. You could almost hear your heart beating in your eyes as all fell silent outside, but you could still sense it.

Probes danced around the room and at first you thought they were flashlights from the Gladers, but they were coming for the Griever. You clenched your eyes shut as one went right over you.

The tension was thick. Suddenly, the hallway door behind the Gladers burst open and you cried out in fear. Everyone staggered back to their original spots and crashed into you. It was Gally.

•••

You watched from behind everyone else as he started screaming.

"They'll kill you! The Grievers will kill you all-one every night till it's over!"

It felt too surreal. He had walked into the Maze. You had watched him. Screamed for him to come back. You had been about to run in after him to get him back when Minho grabbed you around the waist and wouldn't let you leave even as you screamed and cried angry tears. Now, you didn't know if you should be happy or angry.

He dragged himself so that he was standing right in Thomas's face and you noticed a new limp on his right leg that was even worse than Newt's. Newt grabbed your hand as he caught you staring at Gally's leg and shook his head slightly. He didn't want you to go near Gally.

"You," Gally sneered and pointed a bloody finger at Thomas's face. "It's all your fault!" Suddenly he swung his left fist around so fast and crashed it into Thomas's ear that all that registered was the grunt of pain and Thomas staggering back.

"Gally stop it!" You screeched and his rapid eyes turned on you as if noticing you for the first time.

"Y/N? What are you still doing here?" He asked angrily and Newt grabbed your hand yet again as Gally took a menacing step towards you. He glanced at Newt's hand clutched around yours and his scowl deepened.

"You don't get it, Newt. You're too stupid- you've always been too stupid. The Grievers'll kill you all..she needs to come with me. She should have before." Gally chattered like a madman and you took a deep breath.

"Gal, I can't just leave. You aren't thinking straight. There's a Griever right out the window."

"You aren't thinking straight, Y/N! There's no way out- there's no way to win! I've seen what the real world is like and the truth. They're gonna kill you, all of you- one by one!" Screaming the last word, Gally threw his body toward the window and started reaching at the wooden boards. Before anybody could move, one of the boards was on the floor.

"No!" Newt screamed and raced forward to stop him, Thomas on his tail. Gally ripped the second board off the window and the force caused it to slam into Newt's head. His neck twisted at a sickening angle as a spurt of blood came out his mouth and he collapsed on the bed. You cried in dismay and started dragging Newt off the bed as Thomas confronted Gally.

"What are you doing?"

Gally spat on the ground and heaved like winded dog. "You shut your shuck-face, Thomas! You shut up! I know who you are, but I don't care anymore. I can only do what's right!"

The last board was ripped off the window and you abandoned your attempts at dragging Newt into the hallway and grabbed Gally's arm, trying to drag him away from the Griever squirming into the room.

"Gally! We have to go!" You sobbed and pulled harder but his hand swung back and caught your face and you fell down in shock, tenderly touching your cheek. Thomas stopped pulling Newt for a moment to stare at you. Even the Griever seemed to have stopped writhing.

Gally's eyes cleared for a moment and his face filled with regret as you pushed yourself to your feet and stared coldly at him, tears brimming.

"Y/N-," He started and reached for your face when the giant Griever arm finally broke it's way through the glass.

It was like a hound dog, darting back and forth. Suddenly it it darted toward his turned back and the world slowed down. It was as if something was controlling your limbs as you shoved Gally out of the way and the arm clamped around your chest, pricking you in a million different places and causing you to scream in pain.

Gally's eyes widened and he lunged for you and the Griever but it was already galloping back into the Glade. He yelled in pain as his right leg crumpled beneath him but you barely noticed as the Griever got closer and closer to the Maze and you felt yourself get sucked into it's blubbery skin.
