Ten years later...
I looked at my two children, frolicking happily around a large oak. I smile happily at my husband who grinned back at me. His smooth and large hand found mine and he leaned down to kiss me.
"Not in front of the children," I murmured into his ear. He growled and pulled me closer to him.
"I love you," he breathed into my neck. His lips brushed my ears and his arms squeezed me reassuringly.
I glanced at our children again. Heather, our daughter was perched mischievously in a tree. Her light brown hair and violet-grey eyes reflected the sunlight. Her brother, Geth, was slowly creeping up behind her. His dark brown head brushed the leaves as he advanced in his unsuspecting sister.
"Watch out!" I called to Heather. She spun around and playfully pushed Geth who almost fell off the branch.
I sighed with contentment. I've never been happier in my entire life.
"You know I love you too," I said, turning to the handsome man standing beside me.
"Yes," Legolas murmured.
