Keisha I walked back in the house from seeing my baby and her daddy off. Subconsciously I was smiling really hard when I walked back in my room. "You must've let your little baby daddy play in that butt while you were outside. You're cheesing way too hard. I straight faced her.
"Jo grow up forreal!" I rolled my eyes climbing back into my bed.
" You first. I mean when are y'all going to stop playing and get right and become a couple?"
"A couple of what? He got a whole problem on his hands with Ro. I'm not inserting myself in that bullshit. Not me!"
"Well I can tell y'all want each other. It's so obvious. You don't want to spin the block and tap that again? You don't miss the D?"
"I only had it a few times in one night. So what is there to miss? We just got a baby together and we're basically trying to be good parents. That's about the only connection you're feeling."
I began to channel surf. Ignoring my sister. She's always thinking Lawrence and I want each other. We are coparents that are friends. We don't mess around with each other. We don't even talk outside of Sofia. Most times. It's just telling him about appointments, what did throughout the day. Little stuff. He's never in my personal business and I'm never in his. That's why I was so confused why Ro was coming for me.

"Since you're all in business where is Ty and why you over here bothering me? Why you not up his ass?" Jolita gave me a look that told me to chill. I gave her the same face.
"He's out with his mom." Jo rolled her eyes.
Jo and Mrs. Daniels never got along. They couldn't stand each other honestly. They would constantly bicker back and forth about Jo's husband Tyler. Mrs. Daniels felt like Jolita was a gold digger because they had money. But our family was well off as well so she was never hurting for money. Then when Jo had the miscarriage she blamed her and said Jo was a horrible fit to carry her grandchildren and gave my sister complete hell. When our mother caught wind of the disrespect she kindly went to Mrs. Daniels house and beat her ass. Which kinda caused a even bigger rift between the two. But my mama definitely doesn't play about us no matter how old we are. Even with all of that going on Tyler stuck by my sister and gave his mom a ultimatum. She was either going to accept Jo or not be in his life. She didn't like it but she accepted it. The two keep their distance and Tyler spends time with her when time is permitted. I don't know why moms are weird like that.
Jo's phone began to ring it was Ty. Jo lit up like a lightbulb. "There's goes my baby now!"
