All Of Us - Part 1: Summer

Foreword - please read

Hey there ! I'm Matt, the author of All Of Us. Thank you so much for bothering to check this story out ! It's very important to me (I've been working on it for a grand total of four years) and I can't wait to see what you think about it !

Before all else, I'd like to give a shoutout to my eldest cousin, @Bouboute14. Without you, this story would have never been written, let alone published. Thank you for being such a confidence-booster and my number one fan. Merci du fond du coeur, ma Bouboute d'amour.

I'd also like to thank @SierraFarted for this amazing cover and the three more that are yet to follow. Not only is she an amazing artist, she is also one of the sweetest people I have met on this platform. Thank you so much for your time and effort ! I really appreciate it.

There are a thousand other irl people I'd like to thank for their immense help with regards to All Of Us - but guess what, they are all getting thanked at the end of Part Four. De rien ;)

Before you begin on this long journey through time and space into an alternate reality named Methron, full of angels, demons and swords, I have a few points to share, so please have a look:

1) I am completely aware that my writing is eons away from professional. If you have any feedback whatsoever, don't hesitate !

2) This story involves content which you might find triggering, including strong language, physical and sexual violence. Though the aim of All Of Us is to focus on the healing rather than the hurting, I can understand that a few of these chapters can be triggering for some. If you're not sure if you're up to reading All Of Us because of this, feel free to DM me and I can give you more details.

3) This is the first part of All Of Us; there are three more to go. But don't panic ! This is by far the longest (and the most boring lol) of all four parts: by itself, the 43 chapters in Part One account for over half (around) of the chapters of this book. So please don't be daunted by its size; I'm breaking the story down into readable portions for those who don't feel up to reading thousands of chapters in one go ;) I should warn you, though, that the other three parts are planned but not written. I have no idea when they will be postable, considering that I am moving to another country in two months and will have to adapt. I'll try to be as fast as possible, though !

4) Last but not least: religion. In the making of this story, I heavily (like, a lot) inspired myself from the French Revolution. For those of you who don't know, the first French revolutionaries wished to seperate state and religion. They didn't ban Christian practices at all, but decided to distanciate themselves from the power the Church precedently had over the French monarchy. In All Of Us, I am trying to do something similar. It is not my intention at all to condemn Lassheso (Methron's religion) but instead to show that Lassheso can have harmful effects on the society as a whole in some aspects. I didn't realize whilst writing my story of how hurtful this aspect of All Of Us could be; I wished to clarify my intentions here. If you think I am crossing a line, feel free to talk to me about it (in a civilized manner, of course).
