A/N:  Have some more OOC macaque for your emotional needs!

You sat upright as you heard your alarm go off. Right, you had work today. Pushing the cover onto the other side of the bed, you blinked a few times to clear up your vision. You sighed and shuffled out of bed, letting your feet hit the cold floor. It wasn't very pleasant, but you'd get used to it. Letting out a loud yawn, you stretched your arms over your head and began making your way to the bathroom. You had picked out your clothes last night, so they sat on a hanger on the doorknob. Now, it was time for your daily routine.

First, let out a loud sigh and look at yourself in the mirror.

Next, get in the shower and spend an unnecessary amount of time just standing in the water.

Then, get out, dry, and put your clothes on before looking in the mirror again.

Now, brush your teeth and floss.

Next, do your hair and then get sad because it never looks the way you want it to.

After that, get happy because now you get to eat breakfast. Then eat breakfast.

Finally, praise yourself because you are amazing, and you have a lot of time to kill before you get to work.

"Hey, Y/N! How are you?"

You gave Ms. Beux an ecstatic wave and grinned.

"I'm doing great Ms. Beux! I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to get to work. I'll bring you some cookies from my job though!"

before she could reply, you were off. Somehow you had managed to make yourself late, despite waking up eons earlier than your shift. You could guess why you were late. Talking with people too much. It was a force of habit, and you didn't want to leave people hanging! You skidded to a stop in front of your job and ran in. As soon as you got in, you snatched your shoes off and put some skates on.

"Y/N! Why are you late?!"

You took a few seconds to catch your breath before inhaling. Before you could start talking, though your boss, Tim, put his hand up. He had chocolate brown eyes to match his fluffy brown hair and sideburns. His eyebrows were a bit on the thick side, but it helped emphasize his emotions. He had a cigarette in his mouth and a disappointed look on his face.

When Tim wasn't struggling to remember why he walked into a room or was in the middle of a coughing fit, he was a very nice person. He'd make jokes a lot, and if he thought an employee was getting stressed or tired, he would make them take a break. If you were being honest, he was your favorite person to work with. Don't tell anyone though. You opened your mouth again to say something, but he shook his head,

"Y/N, you know I don't like excuses. You're only ten minutes late anyway. Go on, get serving."

You nodded quickly and skated to the first table you saw. It was a family of three. A man with long pink hair and glasses covering his burning red eyes sat across from a child. The child was blonde and had several bandages scattered around his face and legs, as well as braces. An older-looking man with a green and white striped hat and a robe to match was scolding the child for cursing. What an odd-looking family. You came to a stop as you stood in front of their table, notebook in one hand, pen in the other.

"Hello! My name is Y/N, and I'll be your waitress today! Let's start with something to drink, what would you like?"

"I just want some water," the pink-haired man grumbled.

The younger child made a face of disgust before speaking up, "You! Get me apple juice!"

The child had a strong British accent and you assumed he wasn't from here. The older man slapped the child on his head before clearing his throat, "He'll have a Hong Cha Jun and I'll just get some Baijiu."

You nodded and set off to make their drinks.

You let out a loud groan as you flopped down on the couch in the employee's lounge. You guys had a lot more people I'm than usual today. Your entire body was aching. It seemed to calm down for a bit when your body hit the couch, but it immediately started again. Your break was about to be over, so you huffed and decided to go outside for a breath of fresh air before getting back to serving. You stood up, ignoring the aching coming from every inch of your body, and walked over to the door leading to the alley next to the store. You pushed the door open and stepped outside, taking a deep breath in.

"Man, it feels nice to be outside again."

"Wow, is it that bad?"

You jumped at the new voice and whipped your head around. Behind you, leaning on a wall, was the emo monkey himself.

"Oh! Hi, Macaque. Y-you kind of scared me there."

He chuckled, "yeah, I can see that."

You laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of your neck.

"So, what are you doing here?"

"I was just passing by and decided to take a break here. It's crazy you work here, I pass by a lot."

"I guess that is a pretty big coincidence, huh?"

Macaque laughed and pushed himself off the wall, walking towards you.

"So, what's your job here?"

He said once he was next to you.

"Oh, I'm a waitress."

He nodded, and you gasped.

"Oh crap! I gotta get back inside! I'll talk to you later, Macaque!"

You darted into the restaurant, and Macaque smirked and shook his head.
