- Raccoon City Police Department,  10:45 PM -

"So let me get this straight, one of those guys just took a good bite on Hernandez?"

"Yes Kevin, he did..."

Kevin: Dear god...  I suppose guy must be really hungry... though he must be literally nuts wanting to eat another person...

"Kevin...!"

Kevin: Alright alright i'm sorry Marvin! but in all seriousness... how's Hernandez...?

Marvin: Not well... Doctors said his situation its worsening by the time...

Kevin: How??

Marvin: I don't know... even the doctors are puzzled by this... apparently he's infected with something...

Kevin: I heard about infections by wounds and such, but by a single bite from some crazy cannibal? don't thinks so.

Marvin: It'd say the same...

They both sighed in frustration as Marvin took a sip of coffe. As Kevin put a hand under his chin.

Kevin: Doesn't this reminds you of...? the remaining S.T.A.R.S members talking something close about this?

Marvin, set his coffee cup down on his desk and crossed his arms.

Marvin: You'd be damn right. Something's truly weird goin' on with this case i tell ya now.

Kevin: Heh. Same... anyways... i have to go now, shift's over.

Kevin stated as he got up from his chair, stretching himself up, some cracks being lightly heard.

Marvin: Right, got the report for the new recruits all sorted out?

Asked marving, getting off of his desk as he walked to Kevin's, checking out some of the file reports of the latest recently hired officers.

Kevin: Yep, even there's this uhh... one kid, Leon Kennedy, he seems pretty cool.

He finished stretching as he looked down at Leion's file. Marvin set the file back down though on the pile of papers.

Marvin: Agreed on that one, boy's got potential.

Kevin: Surely, anyways, gotta go, see you tomorrow.

Kevin stated as he patted on Marvin's shoulder, despite being his superior, they always seem to talk like old friends.

Marvin: Have a good rest Kevin, and remember, don't go around J's Bar with the uniform on, we catch you up and drunk and chief's taking your badge off.

Kevin just opened the door leading to the main hall as he lightly chuckled.

Kevin: You know i can't always keep promises!

Marvin just sighed nad murmurred to himself as he waved goodbye.

Marvin: And be careful out there-

Kevin: Yeah yeah i know about the streets and some of the recent protests. No problemo i know my ways, sure those riot boys have them covered.

He says non-chalant, interrupting Marvin, as he waves waves goodby and left by the main doors.

As he quickly closes it, Marvin just sighs once again, as he goes back on the paper work.

Marvin: Now about this stolen jewel and the guy that did the theft...

He went on to investigate the recent case of something about a jewel decorated clock at the main gate of the city hall park was damaged and got 2 jewels stolen...
