Chapter Three: Anxiety Attacks
The boys then walk into the building together before parting ways to go to their lockers. Cassie hurriedly grabs his things before rushing to Dennis' locker where he finds Dennis distraughtly sifting through the large books in his locker, struggling to retrieve his math book that is currently jammed between three other books. Cass quietly walks up behind Dennis before leaning against the locker next to his. "Need help Dennis?" Cass asks, earning a wide eyed look from Dennis who only just noticed him. "Oh hey Cass. I'm fine." Dennis says quietly while going back to struggling with his books with a determined expression. Cassie stands there for a moment longer watching him struggle continuously with a frown before deciding to help anyways. Cass moves directly behind Dennis where he's pressed slightly against his backside and helps him by quickly readjusting the books that are jammed together in the tiny shelf next to the stack where his math book is. Dennis lets out a sharp breath as he feels something poking against his backside causing him to make a strange noise. Cassie quickly moves away hoping Dennis didn't feel anything that would've been inappropriate. Dennis then takes out his math book before closing his locker and giving Cass a look. "What is it Dennis?" Cassie asks sheepishly with blushed cheeks. Dennis opens his mouth to speak before closing it quickly. Dennis then squints at Cass while furrowing his brow deeply before rolling his eyes and walking passed Cassie toward math class. Dennis takes this time to think of every gross thing imaginable in order to get rid of his excitement while Cassie stands there by his locker for a moment longer, scared and confused before following after Dennis rushing quickly through the crowded hallway, and catching up to him. "I could've done it myself ya know." Dennis says quietly in a slightly frustrated tone with blushed cheeks. "I'm sorry Dennis." Cassie says in a sincere tone while moving closer to Dennis so their shoulders rub together as they walk. "It's fine Cass." Dennis says before pouting his lips clearly in deep thought as they walk into the classroom. They then take their seats next to one another as the room fills with kids.
Dennis takes out his notebook and begins writing something down as Cass watches him intently wondering what it is that Dennis seems to be so focused on. "Dennis." Cassie says in a hushed tone. "What Cass?" Dennis questions while continuing to focus on his notebook. Cass doesn't reply for several moments, earning a perplexed look from Dennis. "What is it Cass?" Dennis asks while looking deeply into Cassie's beautiful, angelic, blue eyes. "Um, I hope you're not angry with me about the locker thing Dennis. I can make it up to you somehow if you'd like..." Cassie says with an innocent look causing Dennis' cheeks to blush before he interrupts him. "I'm not angry at you Cass. You don't have to make it up to me buddy." Dennis says quickly before chuckling nervously earning a smile from Cassie. "Thanks by the way...for helping me." Dennis says quietly while smiling back at Cassie lovingly. Cass then spends the rest of the period drawing a picture of Dennis in nothing, but a pair of jeans showering himself with a hose in an erotic manner that causes him to become overly excited as he imagines the real thing. He hides his excitement beneath his desk as Dennis glances at him every few minutes, visibly concerned while wondering about Cass' behavior. Cass wonders if Dennis has hit puberty yet and if he suffers the way he does. He can't so much as picture Dennis in an intimate setting or touch his soft, delicate, tanned skin without feeling like a pervert.
After the bell rings Dennis watches as Cassie rushes out of the room with an anxious look, so he decides to follow him without his notice. Dennis reluctantly follows Cassie in the boys restroom praying that he's not about to embarrass Cass or make a fool of himself. He quickly ducks behind a wall next to the urinals as Cassie glances sheepishly around the entirety of the empty bathroom. Cass then goes into a stall and quickly locks it before Dennis hears his belt jingling as he fervidly unbuckles it, causing Dennis' cheeks to blush heavily as he wonders what he's gotten himself into. Dennis wants to leave, but his legs feel as though they are glued to the floor. Suddenly Cass lets out a quiet yet distinctive moan causing Dennis' breath to hitch as he realizes what Cas is actually doing. Dennis' cheeks blush heavily as he quickly glances around the room before silently exiting the bathroom and going to English class, though it's over and Scarlet is the only one there. "Dennis. Where have you been? Hanging out with Cassidy, I presume?" Scarlet says giddily, causing his cheeks to blush heavily as he sits down. She looks at him concernedly. "Are you alright?" "I'm fine." Dennis replies quickly while wondering who Cass might've been thinking about in that bathroom stall, secretly wishing it was him. "Seriously. Did Cassidy do something? If he so much as touched you, I'll kill him!" Scarlet says angrily, causing Dennis' breath to hitch. "No-no...um...it's not like that at all, Scarlet..." "Oh...oh! Did you two do something sexy?" Scarlet questions excitedly causing Dennis to choke on the air. "Well, what'd you two talk about after I left?" She questions excitedly. "Well...he asked if he and Kurt could stay the night tonight." Dennis says quietly, earning a gasp from Scarlet. "That probably means that he wants to have sex with you!" Scarlet exclaims excitedly before walking away from Dennis. "Wait! Where are you going?" "I have to get my gym supplies!" "What are you talking about?" Dennis yells back without a reply.
