Everyone’s been busy preparing the Christmas panto, learning the stript, preparing the costumes, and preparing the stage. And Lelyah was getting prepared for the dinner that was going to be tomorrow. Her mother has suggested that Gilbert and Bash could stay the night since it could be too late when the dinner finished. It was a very interesting week. The day arrived faster than they thought, she bought a little present for Gilbert and Bash, which took her an eternity to choose Bash’s present since she didn't knew who he was yet. Her family was also very excited to have guests since it was very common for them to be very active on Christmas, the stories, the hot chocolate, and opening the presents. So they got excited and wanted to buy something for their guest so they could open it in the morning.

“For not being interested in that boy you seem quite excited....and stressed” her aunt said

“I consider Gilbert a dear friend of mine”

“I thought you said you weren't friends” her mother remarked with a sly smile.

“Well you heard wrong mother, he’s very nice compare to other boys in my class, and I never met Bash before, you said first impressions are important”

“Well, for me you could get excited and stressed as much as you want as long as you two are only friends.” her father said joining their conversation “So this Bash person, who is he? another classmate?” her father asked

“Gilbert said he met him while he worked in a boat. But if he’s friends with him, I’m going to trust his judgement and believe Bash is a good person.”

“I never said he wasn’t, I’m just asking” he said defending himself, the question turn out to sound rude, which he didn't mean “I just don't want any boy after my daughter, you’re still young and I want you to enjoy life, go to college like your brother, and then you can love however you want, but not now” he said, pointing at her when he said the last three words. He was aware that someday she’ll leave and do her own life, so he wanted to cherish her the most he could.

“Well she still have a lot of time for all those things” her aunt said “you should get ready, they should arrive soon”

Lelyah ran upstairs to get ready, she wanted to wear something nice since it was Christmas, most of her clothes were traditional russian clothing and she havent had the to look through the clothing stores in charlottetown, but there was one dress that she had bought in England that she haven't had the chance to use yet. The dress had a ivory color skirt, a light blue on top with flute sleeves and flowers imprinted on the dress. It was truly beautiful. She finished getting dressed. And heard talking downstairs she put a hairpin and she was ready.

“Forgive my tardiness, I lost track of time” she said while descending the stairs as fast as she could without having the risk of falling.

When she looked up she saw Gilbert and Bash standing just a few meters away from her, she immediately went to greet both of them.

“It’s nice to finally meet you Sebastian,” she said, extending her hand.

“It’s good to meet you too, I have heard alot about you” he said while corresponding the handshake.

“I hope good things,” she said, turning to look at Gilbert.
