**CLOVE'S POV**
"There he is" I think to myself. my crush. Cato. We have known each other since we were little. Our moms have been friends for a really long time. We have alot of things in common but the biggest thing is, we don't have a dad.
~FLASHBACK~ 5 years ago CLOVE'S POV
"You can't get me, you can't get me!" I yell
"Yes i will!" He shouts racing after me. He was right, in about two minutes he tagged me.
"Kids come in we have to tell u something" my mom said
"Coming" we said in unison
Our moms tell us the most horrible thing i ever heard. Our dads have been shot. They were watching the entrance to the weapon supply and a crazy old guy tried to break in, our dads tried to stop him but they didn't see he had a gun.
~END OF FLASHBACK~
Ever since that day i have been madly in love with Cato. I knew we would never be a couple because we were such good friends and all the girls in the district flirt with him. I guess it wasn't meant to be.
**CATO'S POV**
As I walk to training I see tons of girls drooling over me, but one catches my eye. Clove, my dear clove. I loved since the first time I saw her. I was to scared to tell her how I felt. What if she didnt feel the same way? She sees me and i smile an start to walk over. When I get close I give her a giant hug, I dont want to let her go. We start walking toward the training center and all I can think of is how beautiful she is. I like her alot. No, I love her. I know we would never go out, I guess it wasnt meant to be. I let out a sight, oh well.
