Dinner pt. 2

Cloves Pov.

As Glimmer and Marvel walk in i cant help but roll my eyes. Glimmer looks like a total thot. She is wearing a tight hot pink dress that cuts half way on her thigh. Actually it higher than that, if it was 3 imches shorter we would be able to see her butt!

My eyes shift to Marvel. He looks good all dressed up. He is actually very attractive. He sees me and gives me a small and i give him one back.

I look at Cato, and of course, his eyes are glued to Glimmer. I cant help but glare at him out of pure hate! How could he?!

I am broken from my thoughts as someone sits next to me. I turn and find Marvel sitting a few inches a way, he turns and smiles.

Before our food comes out, Our mentors discuss our alliance with eachother, and we are left to chat amongst ourselves.

Marvel and I talk for awhile about the ridiculous Capitap fashion. I cant help but laugh at how he describes what they look like. I can feel Cato staring, out of the corner of my eye i see his face. Be looks pissed off and jealous. Good, let him be jealous.

After dinner we, me and Marvel, take a seat on the couch and talk about the games. I learn that he is an expert at spears and could throw knives.

"No way. Im the best at throwing knives. Best in my district" i say with a smile. He looks impressed and we make plans to hang out during training. After awhile he and Glimmer and their mentor leave.

Cato's Pov

What was Clove thinking?! Flirting with him! Well, i mean, i guess i kinda deserve it. She did see me and Glimmer. Plus i think she saw me staring at Glimmer. She looked hot. But Clove looked 10x better and didnt look like a whore.

I walk into the hall way and stare at Clove's bedroom door. I lightly knock and wait a few minutes before it opens.

She looks at me and was about to close the door but my foot stopped her.

"Please Cato just leave me alone" she says with sadness in her voice.

"No Clove. We need to talk." she looks up at me.

" We need to figure out what we are going to do" I continue.

She steps out of the way and walks over to her bed. I shit the door and follow her and sit down.

"Clove you know I love-" I was cut off by her

"Save it Cato. I told you we are done! You cheated on me!" tears start to fall from her eyes.

"How could you?" she sobs

I pull her into my chest and say, "Baby it wasnt like that at all. I promise you, nothing happend. She got ontop of me and when you came in it just looked like something happened. You know i love you"

I look down at her as she continues crying into my chest.

" I love you too" she says before pulling away from my chest and kissing my cheek.

She crawls of of me and goes under the covers. I go over to her and wrap them around me to. I pull her into me and she puts her head on my chest.

I wish we could just stay like this. Together. Why did i have to ruin everything?
