Ryuko remained in a state of unconsciousness for 4 days, long enough for the people of Academy City to fix up the city.
Satsuki had helped clean up the city, along with; Mikoto, Kuroko, Uiharu, Saten, Judgement and Anti-skill. She said that when Ryuko woke up, they would leave so Quell also stayed, but when Ryuko woke up, she allowed her to stay for a few more days.
The injuries from the threads on her wrist and ankles still had not healed. "Damn! I missed the fighting!?" Ryuko yelled after being told what happened and gasped in pain when she had moved her hands and wrists too fast.
"Calm down Matoi." Satsuki said. "I have a feeling that there will be more fighting soon."
The group all decided to watch some movies and spend some time together before Quell finally had to open the portal to their world.
"Bye Ryuko!" Mikoto said, her eyes running full of tears.
"Aw, don't cry." Ryuko said awkwardly. "I'll see you soon."
"No, you won't! I'm going to erase your memories as soon as you get back to your worlds!" Quell chimed in. "Hurry up and go."
"I am sorry for everything." Kuroko said to Satsuki.
"It's fine." Satsuki said, holding a DVD of Kill la Kill in her hand, hiding it from Quell's line of sight. They weren't allowed to carry anything from the other world with them.
"Hurry up!!" Quell shouted. "I can't keep this thing open forever!"
With one last hug, Ryuko walked through the portal, ink like blackness filling her vision.
