y/n stood in disbelief as all the girls on the swim team told her that she should go to the spring tournament, rather than hang out with the team. they all basically told her that, "it's the same get together every year, your boyfriend's team should be your priority right now."
'priority'. y/n didn't realizing that watching the inarizaki volleyball team is a priority. her team is her priority.
"are you sure? i was just going to watch them on television rather than travel all the way too-"
"go! this is your boyfriend we're talking about! you should be there to support him," the girls say, smiling at her while they all put on their clothes. y/n looks over at the third year captain, who also gave her an approving smile.
'i guess atsumu should be a priority for me then.'

it wasn't long until new years came around and osamu invited her to attend a shrine visit with him, atsumu and their mom. y/n got to their rendezvous spot ten minutes early, wearing a white sweater and jeans.
"happy new year," osamu and atsumu's mom says, catching y/n's attention. they all bow to each other before the twins' mom hugs y/n. "i'm so happy you're here with us this new year," mama miya says, waiting for y/n to hug her back.
