"I like you Jisoo."

You were practicing your confession, but you knew practicing was much easier than actually saying it.

"Hm...she should be back soon." You checked your watched, and it was four minutes till ten. Jisoo had messaged you, telling you that her mother had set her up on a blind date, maybe going for a few drinks, and assured you that she wouldn't come home too drunk.

A few minutes later, there was a weak knock on the apartment door. As you opened the door a crack, you saw it was Jisoo, and a smile formed on your face. But there was a strong smell of alcohol, you guessed her assurance was a lie and she really did get high.

(For some reason I suddenly thought of...

I WORKED MY WHOLE LIFE~

JUST TO GET HIGH~)

"Jisoo...didn't you tell me you wouldn't get drunk?"

"I'm not drunk...I am sober."

"No, you're drunk. Come inside." You brought her in and shut the door behind her.

After you got her settled on the couch, you asked her about her date.

"So, how was he?"

"Boring. I only like you."

You froze, stunned. "W-what?"

"I like you. I love you." Her voice was slurred, and she was clearly intoxicated, so it was difficult to see if she was sincere or not.

"I...I like you too." You spoke softly, your voice low.

"Then be my girlfriend...,"

"I can't,"

"Why?" She looked disappointed.

"You're drunk, I'm sure you don't mean it. I could, you won't remember it anyway, but what's the point?"

"Is it...is it because you still like Y/N?"

"What?" You got the feeling that maybe Jisoo thought she was talking to someone else.

"Don't play dumb, I know you went on a date with her. Hyejin, tell me, do still like her?"

Ah...so she thought I was Hyejin.

"Jisoo, I'm not Hyejin. It's me, Y/N."

"You won't fool me, I know who you are."

"No you don't, I'm Y/N."

"Can I ask you something?" Jisoo seemed to have forgotten the entire subject, much to your relief. Why waste time debating with a drunk woman who thought you were somebody else.

"Sure."

"Do you like me?"

"Yeah, I do." You answered quietly again, and like before, she heard you.

"Good, because I love you." Before you knew it, her heart-shaped lips were on yours. The kiss was brief, but filled with passion. As much as you enjoyed it, you had to pull away immediately. As much as you wanted it to never end, you had to step backwards. This contact was not meant for you, neither were those three words.

You watched her as she slowly fell asleep and couldn't help but have a small smile on your face. She looked like an angel. You carried her bridal-style to her bedroom, and set her on her bed. You kissed her forehead and smiled as you spoke softly. "Goodnight Jisoo."

Even if I know you love somebody else, I can't help but smile at you.

Even though it hurts so badly.

A/N: Sorry for the slow update. Sorry it's short.
