"Oppa, how are you?" The first words you heard as you ran into the apartment weren't the one's you wanted to hear.
You felt two strong emotions: Relief and rage.
As you stormed into the living room, you shouted angrily. "Seriously, Jisoo? I texted you, you didn't respond; I called you, it all went to voicemail; and it turns out you were just having fun with a boy? What the heck? Don't you know how worried I was?"
"Y/N...my phone was off. I'm sorr-"
"Don't be," You scoffed. "I mean nothing to you, just admit it."
"Y/-" Jisoo started, she let go of her guest's hand and grabbed your arm.
"Jisoo...please. I want to be alone." You pried her hand off your arm and went to your room.

Aish, Y/N, you realled f*cked up this time. Control your impulses.
"Jisoo...," You muttered, your voice cracking. "Don't you know how much I love you?"
You held up your phone to check the time, and was greeted by your lock screen. A picture of the one and only Jisoo Turtle Rabbit Kim.
"Jichu, I hope you forgive me."
Y/N Sorry
You waited for a response, and after fifteen minutes you gave up and went to bed.
She really doesn't care, huh?
Yet even after you got comfortable in bed, you found yourself waiting for the notification. The quiet ding that would make your day better.
Finally, you heard it.
Jisoo No, I'm the one who should be sorry

Making up wasn't too hard. Both of you apologized to the other the next morning over a bowl of congee.
"Sorry my phone was off, there had been numerous scam calls recently and they were a pain in the butt."
"I forgive you for that...but really, you have a boyfriend now?" You were genuinely curious, as Jisoo often complained about her mother setting her up on blind dates, stating that 'men are too immature'.
"Boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend."
"I heard you call him 'oppa'"
Jisoo frowned, confused, then laughed when she realized. "Seokjin is my older brother, Y/N."
Upon hearing that, you couldn't help but chuckle at your mistake.

"I'm buying rice at the supermarket, as we're all out again." You sighed as you began to leave the apartment. "And also...if we eat rice for almost every meal for another week I'm going to go insane."
"Rice goes really well with everything, you can't deny that, can you?"
"Yes, yes, for most dishes, yes. But it's honestly too much. Anyway, I'll drop off the rice then I'll be out again. Don't be surprised if I'm gone till two."
"Alright. Why?"
"Lunch with Lisa." You replied, unlocking the front door, ready to leave.
"Wow, Y/N. You're really making a habit of dating your friends, huh?" You hear the sarcasm in Jisoo's voice and have to admit it's kind of hot.
"It's very friendly, trust me. Anyway...bye!" You stepped out and closed the door.

You admit, Lisa wasn't exactly the best person to ask for love advice, but considering your options, she was the best choice. You had recently turned down Hyejin, and there was a tense awkwardness between you two. Then there was Roseanne, the foreigner, but she was in Australia and her relatives didn't approve of electronic devices. Calling, texting, or just communicating with her was risky.
"Hey Y/N, what's up?" You heard Lisa greet you as you stepped in the cafe.
"Lisa...," You hesitated, not sure how to ask the question. "Can I ask you something about love?"
Lisa smirked playfully. "Ooh...who is it?"
"I...," Your cheeks flushed a shade of rosy red. "I like Jisoo."
