The next day after school, you met up with Jennie at an Italian restaurant. You didn't mean for it to have a romantic mood, but when you texted your friend the address, she couldn't help but note the fact.
You had came early, knowing Jennie was the type to arrive more than ten minutes before the scheduled time, and being the one who offered the meal, you thought it would be rude to have her wait on you. Surprisingly, you had more than a few minutes to kill.
As you switched on your phone, you were greeted by a photo of your childhood pet, a Aussie named Hwan. And as you unlocked your phone, you smiled at the picture of Jisoo you took when the two of you were watching the stars together a few months ago. She looked beautiful.
While you were admiring your housemate's delicate features and blushing hard, you didn't notice somebody sit in the seat in front of you. "What's up Y/N? I thought we were having dinner together, not watching you drool over your Juliet. You being Romeo."
"Jennie, we're not together." You put down your cell and glanced up, the red color fading from your cheeks.
"You 'kay?"
"Mm." You hummed in response, handing a menu to Jennie.
"Didn't expect you to stop blushing so quickly." She flipped through the menu absent-mindedly. "You confessed yet?"
"No." Your voice was blank when you replied.
"Why not?" Jennie stopped flipping through the menu when she asked the question. When she saw that you only shrugged, she groaned. "Seriously, Y/N. You're like a rock today. What happened?"
"Jisoo has a girlfriend. It's okay, though. I set her up on a date yesterday, 'cause I know she likes her." You smiled to assure her that you were fine, that the sorrow you felt wasn't caused by anyone but yourself. And that you were okay, if Jisoo was happy, you would be too.
"Aigoo! My Y/N is really kind." Jennie gasped, making you chuckle light-heartedly.
"First of all, I'm not yours. Second of all, what took you so long to realize that?"
"You up for some soju at my place?"
"Ah...sure."

"I love Kim Jisoo!" After drinking five shots of soju, you were drunk. Your words were loud and slurred, and your eyes glassy. "Ouch...my head...,"
"Aish...Y/N, you know you get drunk easily, three or four shots is more than enough." Jennie was mostly sober, drinking only a little. She sat there patiently as you rambled on and on, then as she heard your snore, realized you were now fast asleep. "Alright, Y/N/N, I'll send you back home."
Jennie wasn't sure where your apartment was, so she decided to ask nudge you awake and ask. "Hey Y/N, could you tell me your address?"
"Mm...," You didn't respond, still in your sleepy, drunken state.
"Aish...," Jennie sighed, then thought of an idea. Surely you had your crush's number engraved in your mind. "Y/N? What's Jisoo's number?" You murmured your answer and Jennie smiled. "Thanks,"
She dialed the number you sleepily gave her, and on the third ring, Jisoo picked up. "Hello? Who's this?"
"I'm Jennie, Y/N's friend. Right now, she's a bit, well, intoxicated, so could you tell me your address so I could drop her off."
"How do I know you're not coming to kill me?"
Jennie chuckled, knowing why you had an interest in this woman. "If you're that skeptical about me, I'll tell you where I am right now so you can pick her up. I'm at xxxxx, on xxxx street."
"Alright. I'm coming."
