Chapter 14

"Jisoo already chose."  You, along with Hyejin, Chaeyoung, and Jennie were seated on a bench at the nearby park.

"Oh?" Chaeyoung mused, running a finger through her hair. 

"What did Jisoo have to choose?" Two puzzled women glanced at the other to see if they understood. Neither did.

"You know...Chaeyoung and I both like Jisoo," You explained quickly. "Eventually, Jisoo would have to choose."

Hyejin and Jennie exchanged glances again. "Oh," The latter spoke. "I knew you liked Jisoo, but Chaeyoung? Didn't hear 'bout that. Anyway, who did she choose?" She raised her eyebrows.

"Well...it will shock you, I'll give you a warning." 

"Spill. Chaeyoung, Hyejin, and I are waiting."

"She chose...," You paused for a dramatic effect, despite what you were going to say next. Your voice suddenly became flat as you spoke. "Felici- I mean, Lee Felix...,"

"What?!" The other three were all in shock, thoroughly confused. 

"What do you mean, Y/N?" Hyejin asked, and looked at Jennie and Chaeyoung, wondering if they were just as puzzled as she was. They were.

"Jisoo never fancied any of us. She was simply playing with my love." You said simply. "Chaeyoung, when she told you she liked someone else, it was probably that Felic- Felix."

"Felix...you mean that popular guy? Wasn't he with Yiren just a couple weeks ago?" Chaeyoung ran a finger through her hair again.

"I guess so." 

"What if he cheats on Jisoo?"

"I don't think he's that bad of a guy, Chae. Otherwise, why would Jisoo have fallen for him?"

"Because of his looks Y/N, that's why everyone falls in love with him, even though he's a playboy."

"Oh,"

"Also Y/N...why do I feel like you keep almost saying Felicity instead of Felix?" Chaeyoung asked.

"..."

"Why are you guys gossiping about Lee Felix and how he might cheat on Jisoo?" Jennie stood up, surprising everyone. "Jisoo's the b!tch here, understand? How can you still care and worry about her after all those things she's done? If I were in control, she'd be in hell right now!"

"Woah, woah, Jennie, calm down. Everyone can hear you right now. It's okay. You're making me embarrassed." You couldn't help but smile at Jennie's reaction. Se really was the bestest friend.

"She hurt my two baby chipmunks, how is that okay?!" She sat down again and her eyes flitted from you to Chaeyoung and back to you again. "Get your revenge."

"Jennie...we're not your baby chipmunks, we're only one year younger." Chaeyoung whined, but anyone could tell she was happy at how passionate her friend was in getting back at Jisoo.

"You're my baby chipmunks, and always will be, that's final, 'kay? Even when we're old and become grandmothers."

The buddies in high school shared a group hug.

You peeked over Jennie's shoulder and saw Hyejin looking like she felt as if she was interrupting. You smiled and wrapped your arm around her neck as well, and smushed the four of you together.
