Wattpad unpublished this for whatever reason and it makes me a tiny bit aggregated :(

Heyyyy I'm not dead. I just had ALOT going on in life involving my family and before any of that I lost any motivation to finish this book but I was reading back the comments and it gave me a little motivation. I would love to stress this chapter has been written in the span of July 29th to now. Like the second I'm done with this chapter it will be uploaded. I might not even proof read it? idk yet. Wednesday at 9:15am. Now that you actually knew the day and time you would get on the plane, somehow you felt less on edge. Maybe it was the fact that Dan was really excited to go? Or maybe you finally realized you were overthinking things. Either way your anxiety decreased by about 8.65% so that was always better than nothing.

When you were situated in the plane, You pulled a book out while Dan just glanced out the window.

"Its a 6 hour flight. I hope you brought things to keep you busy, Maniel."

"I did but i dont want to instantly jump into them. I at least want to get settled on the plane first."

You nodded and put your book down before turning to look out the window too. It was harder for you since you didnt have a window seat. You then felt Dan grab your hand and intertwine your fingers. Neither of you moved at that. You both used to. It was rather silly in your mind. Any small move you made towards your boyfriend turned you into a nervous wreck. It turned him into a nervous wreck too but with you it was still the sense of you are a fan of his. The only difference you saw was the fact that you live with and get to kiss one of your favorite people. After a few minutes, you put your head on his shoulder and got comfortable before getting a message from bf/n.

Bf/n- Did you guys miss the plane?

Y/n- No i promise you we didnt. We were right on time. Its actually about to take off then we have a 6 hour flight and then we will be there

Bf/n- Ughhhhh thats too long of a wait. Even my mom is pumped as hell to see you. Than again you are also like her second child.

Y/n- Hopefully Dan will feel comfortable while we stay here a while. And hopefully my TOTALLY WONDERFUL FAMILY at least slightly likes him when they meet

B/n- im sure it will all go smoothly. In the mean time im taking a nap due to time zones so call me when you get off the plane alright?

Y/n- Will do <3

i turned my phone off and put it in my 'bag of entertainment shit' before the co-pilot came over the intercom. (Ive never been on a plane so plz bear with me)

"Welcome passengers. This will be a decent length flight so please kick back and relax. Please also make sure your seatbelts are fasened while we take off and we wish you a pleasant travel with *insert typical airline name here*"

You and Daniel both stayed silent for a while before breaking the silence.

"So are you nervous?"

"No not really. Meeting your family isnt something I'm bouncing up and down in my seat like a child over but it's still something I won't mind too much. Then bf/n I already know of course so I think that makes everything a lot easier."

You? You were a nervous wreck. You knew bf/n would be perfectly fine with him. It's just your parents reaction to him that there might be an issue. They will probably say something like how you have wasted the past 10 months in a whole new country all for a boy while your sister did something slot more 'important' than that with her basic ass 9-5 job. But lucky you, you're able to stay with bf/n so your family is out of the picture of needed when it comes to your relationship with Dan. They were just always judgemental so it worried you sometimes.

"Im sure meeting your family will go great y/n. Please dont stress over it too much alright?"

You sighed lightly and nodded before resting your head on Dans shoulder for a little while. Once the plane leveled out after takeoff, you grabbed a book you had ment to finish a few weeks ago but didnt. It was only like 20 pages left and it would be done. You tried your best to keep the whole 'hes meeting your family' thing in the back of your mind. Sure you were nervous, but that doesnt mean things will automaticlly go wrong. Im sure everything will go just fine. Just fine indeed.
